Nicest people! We walked up on the porch and people greeted you with a handshake and a smile. Great atmosphere. Everyone made you feel like they knew you, like a big family. Burgers were delish! Can't wait to go back for the rendezvous weekend and other times too 😎

Easter Sunday morning, we blew a tire on the trailer we were hauling, with no spare. The owner (whose name we didn't get), offered us a tire, he had, let us leave our trailer while we luckily found a new tire in Manistique. Thank you very much, we appreciate you checking to see if we needed help and going out of your way to help us. We are planning on coming back up for the Jeep Jamboree in July! Thank you again!

Very beautiful place to eat or drink, get a campground to stay at, while you are traveling, play frisbee goal for free and take a nature walk, or fish at the pond.
Nice campground. An online map of the campground would be helpful to people who have never been there. Didn't know where to check in.

stopped here on the way home, 20$ for a no hook up site - included access showers, and bathrooms. huge open field with tons of room for almost anything. we had a super relaxing night at the bar, with drinks and food. don't go to the bar expecting french service with 5 courses, and I mean that in the nicest way possible. I love that it felt like we were at a friend's enjoying drinks and some down home good ol bar food. the next day we enjoyed the disc golf course, a fantastic thing to do while camping. I could go on and on about this place, all in all we had a splendid visit and will be back. stayed October 6th 2024

Definitely loved the quiet privacy my wife and I enjoyed here. We did go on an OFF WEEK as this place is usually VERY lively, something that we also value in our camp vacations! The Bar was lacking per bar standards but I was grateful for it regardless bc it meant not making dinner and drinks for my wife and I lol Noticed they had bicycle campers ride through on trails. Horse campers too!! Which I haven't seen in over a decade, that was amazing!
I honestly could see making this a seasonal destination for it's location, week privacy and week end fun! It's nice to have quiet week days and it's even nicer to have that "downtown nightlife" right at your own camp on the weekends they host events.
I personally am trying to drum up some friends and host a mini bash next summer!!
Playground: Small kids playground available. Hoping the arcade will be running by next summer along with the pool table!! Amazing little hangout rec room under the bar!
Toilets: Only 2 women's stalls and 1 shower (not sure about the men's) for the whole camp seems a bit overloaded. But it was clean. And they have on site laundry!!
Dog-friendliness: Outstanding! This is the main reason this will be a new yearly stop for us! We had almost the entire grounds to ourselves and they allowed us to roam out back with the dogs off leash where it was safe
Picnic area: Disc golf, picnic area, outdoor concert space, two tracking, beach volley ball, mini golf was closed but I noticed a tent camper on the non operating mini golf course and honestly that seemed so Kool and perfect for tent campers bc level ground and electric that was close to the bar and bathrooms. This property was huge and perfect.
