Wow, super good food! While driving through to Mackinac Island, we went out of our way to this restaurant. We wanted good yet healthy food, and because of how people have raved about the food we went. My husband and I loved how the food looked and tasted, so delicious! I had an awesome chicken salad with the BEST butternut squash soup I’ve ever had in my life. My husband had a Cuban sandwich and their other delicious soup. He couldn’t stop raving about his food either. I took another Butternut Squash soup to go. I can’t wait to visit Applewood Eatery again!! Awesome service too!
Very nice welcome greeting, diverse menu, fast service. The waitress must have heard me talking about sharing the sandwiches because it was served already separate. Nice touch.

I will come back again once I am back to Escanaba. As I came from Florida to visit family. I had the Applewood Grilled cheese for lunch and it was great. I was promptly greeted and waited on by Crissie, she is a rockstar at the restaraunt. It only took a few minutes to get everything. Thanks, definitely recommend.

An excellent menu and excellent food.. I was troubled to see one wait staff Person serving 12 tables that were full. not only was she serving 12 tables, but she was clearing and cleaning them, answering the phone, and covering the cash register with no help. There were others there but she seemed to have to beg them to help her just a little . I tipped her 40%. Maybe just a bad day for staffing but she still provided excellent service! A true professional. Highly recommend! Thursday July 6th, 1pm.

I was passing through Escanaba and decided to look for somewhere healthy with good reviews. So glad I chose Applewood! It had several items on menu I could eat (keto friendly) and my meal was amazing! Staff were friendly and service was fast even though it was busy.
