So glad I found this place. Their food is totally worth the short distance drive from M35. Their Chicago-style hotdog was spot on: steamed bun, celery salt, sport pepper, nicely done. Great fries to go along with it. Really happy that they sell Stewarts sodas, too. It's great to be able to get a taste of where I grew up when I go to Escanaba or drive through the area. I'll be making a point to eat here whenever possible. There's plenty of fast food in Escanaba, but I'd much rather support a local small business.
Their staff was very friendly and welcoming, and they made the food quickly. Prices were good, especially nowadays.
When I found out they made it through the pandemic and had been around for a long time, I was even happier that I had stopped there to eat. Kudos to them for surviving and persevering for so many years. Wishing them many more years and all the success they're earning.

Loved the food and hotdogs and even had a chalk board just wish they had more unique hotdog varieties. service was quick and nice and atmosphere was good except for the annoying flies but that can be over looked. As someone from a state that loves hotdogs 10/10.

Came back after i heard they fixed their bird problem... still a very gross place. I got the cheesesteak and moon fries, cheesesteak has gotten worse since the last time i came here. The cashier was really rude to me as well. Will probaly not come back again.

No prices listed on chalk board or printed menus. Cashier said they constantly had to raise prices. Moon fries were extremely greasy and not crispy. Gyro was nothing special and downsized.

Honestly astonished at all of the raving reviews for this place. I have never—never—been to a restaurant where EVERYTHING was bad. Until now. Not a single cooked item tasted good. The chicken was dry, fries tasted like wet cafeteria-style fries, the sauce on the fries was broken and tasted like mayo and lemon juice, the grilled cheese strangely tasted 2 weeks old, the sauce on the grilled cheese was overly acidic and unpleasant, the falafels were flat discs made of mostly flour, and so on. What a horrible waste of money. Literally one of the worst places I’ve eaten in my entire life. Never, ever again.

I have no clue how this place has such high ratings. It's pretty pricey and mostly flavorless. The only thing that tasted like anything were the parm fries and they tasted like play doh.

Perfect chef salad- best price in town for a chef salad excellent quality ingredients.! Excellent service
Unassuming corner lot cafe with outdoor seating. The staff was helpful with ordering, warm and welcoming. I loved the atmosphere, decorations and art. The best part IMO was the chalkboard and chalk at each booth. We made some art while waiting for our food, which was superb. Will definitely be hitting them up next time I'm traveling through Escanaba!
