So glad I found this place. Their food is totally worth the short distance drive from M35. Their Chicago-style hotdog was spot on: steamed bun, celery salt, sport pepper, nicely done. Great fries to go along with it. Really happy that they sell Stewarts sodas, too. It's great to be able to get a taste of where I grew up when I go to Escanaba or drive through the area. Loved the food and hotdogs and even had a chalk board just wish they had more unique hotdog varieties. service was quick and nice and atmosphere was good except for the annoying flies but that can be over looked. As someone from a state that loves hotdogs 10/10.
Unassuming corner lot cafe with outdoor seating. The staff was helpful with ordering, warm and welcoming. I loved the atmosphere, decorations and art. The best part IMO was the chalkboard and chalk at each booth. We made some art while waiting for our food, which was superb. Will definitely be hitting them up next time I'm traveling through Escanaba!
