This place is terrible. 3rd floor it's trashed. Barely clean your room. And the assistance Manger on the 4th floor room 424 tried fighting me.

All said and done, I spent 2 months here, most of the staff were awesome, especially the manager, and front desk. With the exception of Hally, and the third shift guy, everyone was great. Even when my wife came and stayed with me, people were respectful that due to her health concerns she needs to sleep in, and kept the noise to an absolute minimum.... they allow pets, so my wife could bring our 1 dog. The place was clean and tidy, there was snow while we were there, but it was taken care of. My car broke down and I was able to work on it in the parking lot with no issues... everything was wonderful, thank you guys...Rooms: The rooms were decent, I had a king size suite, on the 4th floor, my only concern was the wallpaper had slight peeling, and the room was either extremely humid, or overly dry; so much so that my feet cracked, and that never happens.Safety: There are only 2 cameras on the property, one in the front lobby facing the front entrance, and the other on the side hall, pointing toward the side door, but just around the corner so if you come in the side door and go to the elevator it doesn't even see you... I'd give the place a great rating if you don't want people knowing what or where you are or who you have coming and going, but for families, normal people, and actual safety rating I wouldn't even give them a single star out of 10, they actually had someone go missing from the hotel, and even with police and investigators looking, he was never found, still to this day....Food & drinks: Seasons Lounge is at the hotel, it has pretty good food, but is definitely on the more expensive side, even though it's all bar food. They sell alcohol as well. The hotel has the best continental breakfast i have ever seen, always hot eggs with sausage patties, a waffle iron, as well as the usual cold cereal, milk hard boiled eggs and yogurt and pastries too.

Close to the highway, breakfast was good with a variety of food items, including eggs/sausage, waffles, juice .... coffee is better in the lobby.Noteworthy details: Heated pool was a decent size. The hot tub was down for repairs.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel on the 7th and final night of our trip. As many others have said, this property is in serious need of repair/cleaning. The carpets were old, the wallpaper throughout our room was peeling, the cover of the AC unit in the room was falling off the wall and the control knob was missing. We went to breakfast, which was supposed to end by 10:00am and at 9:25 there was almost nothing left and they were even out of hot water to make oatmeal. The location is loud and on top of that our simple room was over 200.00 a night including our pet fee which was the most expensive room of the entire trip while the room itself was the worst experience. Other than Ludington Park, Escanaba looks rundown so I'd recommend staying in a different town altogether.

Clean, comfortable room. Only wish heater/air conditioner would go off. Did not bring up as problem however. Convenient location for me as I was visiting multiple relatives in area. Nice family restaurant across highway. Better value than some in area.

It's got a really nice lobby, but when u get up to the third floor things are kind of tired looking. Our room was clean but the coffee tray was pushed back on the shelf so the cups were everywhere, and the cold air was blasting when we walked in. It was freezing! The patch jobs on the wall weren't that great! The breakfast tasted great! Scrambled cheesy eggs and sausage, plus the other assortment you can choose from. It was a good spread, plenty of room to sit. When I was checking out, the people were ignoring me standing there until I said I was checking out, where should I drop the keys. Then they hurried over to take them. I was really upset about the hot tub being closed down. We booked online, nothing was posted. We had hiked and I was looking forward to it. I was not happy... Not a bad place to stay, needs some freshening up, and for the price, a hot tub!!!

It's a decent hotel. I experienced both positives and negatives. The staff is super nice, but it is understaffed. I don't mind running downstairs to get extra towels and toilet paper because only one person was manning the front desk, but get her some help, please! The bed was comfy, but small. The bathroom shower and fixtures are pretty old and out of date. The shower worked, but lacked pressure. The cable system is really outdated. The hot tub was out of service and I've heard it almost always is. I really loved the swimming pool, though! That alone was worth it. It seemed like the place was just not worth the price.

When I asked if they had a pool and hot tub they said yes. Did not say the hot tub was closed for repairs. That really irritated me, after all that driving I was looking forward to it. However it's right off the highway making for quick entry and exit.

Horrible nights sleep because there was mold all over the ceiling. We thought it was just dirty. 3 hrs sleep because of coughing fits.

At first glance we noticed all the pealing wallpaper. Room 313 has mold issues all over the ceiling. The whole hotel smelled musty. The mattress and bedding where above comfortable and clean but still got a horrible night sleep because of coughing to mold.

Hotel is in bad need of repair and upgrading. Bathrooms are dirty with black mold on the walls and flooring is loose. Wallpaper is falling from walls. Hot tub is closed at time of this review, however no one tells you this when booking or checking in.

We are giving one star because the is nothing lower! There was NO quality at this Quality Inn!We arrived with a large group all staying here. We were "treated" to a room with nasty sticky carpets, moldy walls in the shower and no shower curtain! How do you not see the mold? How do you not supply a shower curtain? We took our showers and I used the wet towels to wipe up the floor. We asked FOUR separate times over for a shower curtain and dry towels. It seemed the young ladies behind the desk really didn't care about our issues. Finally at the end of the second day and after dinner, we had finally be accommodated. After this we were going to meet many members of our group for a night cap, only to find that the restaurant/bar had been closed due to lack of patrons! What? The liquor store across the street was incredibly happy at Quality Inn's poor business practices. We never would have stayed here the second night but had no other option. Upon tell the details of our fiasco, another group member told of how the bed cover was stained and she cleaned the bathroom floor, which was covered in hair (I couldn't ask, but you can guess)!!We give credit to the lady at the desk, when we checked out. She told us that she would do what she could to get a refund for us (as this was the only thing left for the hotel to do to correct these issues). We were given a about a third reduction in the charge for this subpar room.NEVER EVER will we stay at a Quality Inn property.

I’m not usually one to write a bad review, but this was a bad experience in terms of cleanliness. First of all, when we arrived we went to get ice. The ice bucket hadn’t been emptied or cleaned from the previous guests. Next, We were getting ready to go to bed and my husband noticed a disgusting spot/stain on my pillow. We had not slept in the bed yet. This leads me to believe the sheets may not have been changed. We had to call down to the front desk for new bedding and pillows. Lastly, there was food under one of the beds, that wasn’t ours. We spoke to two other guests that weekend who had similar experiences with cleanliness. The staff was friendly, apologetic, and tried to remedy the situation, but the bad taste was already embedded in our brains. I also noticed that they were hiring housekeepers. Note to owner/manager, do not book rooms if you don’t have staff to clean them. I would never go back there!
