Awesome place, found it while traveling through upper peninsula of Michigan, was hungry and wanted breakfast. Such a good find. I hope to be back someday. Great service and really good vibes 😎 and tasty homemade bagels 🥯

I had low expectations coming in here. That’s just the kind of guy I am. Not only is my glass usually halt-empty, more often than not it also has a crack in it.

I’m so happy i didn’t succumb to my initial impression. It is homey. With a variety of booths, tables, and chairs available.

The staff are very friendly and made me feel right at home, taking time to describe how the roast beef for my sandwich is prepared. Advising me to call in advance to reserve scones I might want for the ride back to Cream City.

That roast beef. I’ve been around the sun a few times and have lain my head under many a different sky. This is the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Roast Beef and Asiago Spread on a Ciatta. $8.95. Delicious. The roast beef is cooked in a secret marinade.

The bottom line is I’ll find some excuse to drive the 4 1/2 hours to Escanaba just for this sandwich.

I brought my mom out to lunch for a nice sandwich as I ate here in the past and it was great. My mom ordered the pesto sandwich on sourdough honey mustard and mayonnaise on the side. I ordered the roast beef sandwich on panini bread. Her Milky Way coffee was wrong tasted like black coffee with cinnamon, we let that go our food arrives her pesto is on panini bread, mines on what looks like Italian sourdough. So I said she wanted no tomato on hers and honey mustard on the side also I got mine with panini bread and hers should be sourdough and the food runner/cook responded with that’s not panini bread I pointed at the bread I wanted even if I was wrong she should have fixed it I’m a sous chef of 5 years I think I know what I’m talking about but I didn’t say that I said okay can I just get that bread and give her the other bread. The second time she came back it was the same sandwich. We were very unhappy and didn’t enjoy our meal we were gunna get dessert but we took our business elsewhere. I hope this finds management and gets taken care of.

First time in after moving here nearly 3 years ago. What a nice find. Will definitely be going back.

super nice staff! great place to sit or grab to-go coffees and sandwiches! Fairly large menu of sandwiches, wraps, and salads and a smaller assortment of scones and cookies. The pesto panini was really good as were the caramel macchiatos!

Love this place! The Mint Mocha is by far my favorite! And the food here is also delicious.

Very friendly staff, & very cheerful & comfortable atmosphere. The UP cherry coffee is amazing & I love getting their scones each morning when I’m in town for work! Absolutely wonderful establishment!

Had an incredible Ruben sandwich and was able to have a nice lunch with coworkers!

Parking: Park a little further away and walk, it's worth it and it's a great still in a cool downtown.
