The chicken bacon ranch grinder was so good, it's not your regular bread but like a thick flat bread overflowing with filling. hubby said coneys rank right up with best he's had and he's had a lot of coneys. “Gets a tad crowded at times and drinks are a little pricey but as far as bars go it's a pretty good one. Pool tables, great drink selection, fun and friendly staff, always close to a place to smoke. Good place to go hang with friends and party in an energetic and freeflowing bar.“

“Tried this place in a whim for the Halloween karaoke, and I will definitely be back. We were treated so wonderfully, I could tell they definitely wanted us to be returning customers. Eric was the sweetest and most attentive bartender I've ever had, and Gabby was a wonderful DJ and very charismatic!! The drinks were delicious and the pudding shot was delightful. We didn't eat but would definitely enjoy trying some time!“

“We were in your restaurant June 11 and the waitress came to our table to order then we had to flag her down to get anything including the bill. We had 2 overcooked pizza and 2 almost burnt quesadias. We have eaten there many times and this was not good.“

“Liz is the absolute best. We didn’t eat today but a couple behind us got two burgers. Liz prepared them with such care they looked amazing. We found out she works Thursdays…. The next Thursday we want a burger we are making if a point to come from Saginaw to have one of Liz’s exceptionally crafted burgers!!!“

“I’ve been to Tavern 101 several times. Service is always friendly & welcoming. Favorites are ranch buttered popcorn flatbread pizza, & the fried green beans. Just a little disappointed that they now charge for the refills on the popcorn, especially when service is slow. Tried the hibachi bowl, very unusual flavor, not sure I’ll order that again. Overall, great place to eat & drink!“
“Make a trip downtown Bay City and be sure to stop at Jakes Corner Lounge for a drink or two! Fun atmosphere and the best bartenders around. we always feel like family at Jakes. Check their Facebook for the happenings too. Karaoke, line dancing, bands, trivia! Always something fun. you know what they say..... Sometimes you gotta go......😁😁“
