Can’t say enough about the homemade food at Bucks. We’ve had everything from breakfast to sandwiches to the beef stew and biscuits and everything has the homemade from your kitchen feeling!
The wait staff is incredibly friendly and prompt with a refill of your coffee or water and a smile on their face!!!

As a long time algonac/fair haven resident, bucks is a part of home for me. I work midnights and I look forward to having my breakfast/ dinner and seeing Ann and Dee and eating the delicious concoctions Jerry whips up. Ill be a regular here forever and they take good care of their regulars as well. More than highly recommended.

I've been a huge fan of this place ever since my wife and I googled places to visit in and around New Baltimore and Buck's name popped up. We stopped by for your usual Denny's/IHOP/Big Boy fare and found it much more pleasant here. It's the sort of place where if you're a local everyone working there knows your name. If I were a novelist I'd include Buck's Diner in a story, it's that iconic and classically American. I can't wait until the next time we're in town to pay them another visit!
What a quaint little diner, so cute inside and the food was delicious. Staff was wonderful. We were just passing through from Ohio and we really enjoyed this great place. Love the decore and atmosphere. Thank you!

Chili cheese fries were awful, it was basically chili soup with green peppers and chunky tomatoes saturated the fries, who the heck thought of that? So waitress took it back I ordered just plain fries but noooo the cook peppered them…who the heck puts pepper on fries? Anyhoo no more business from us, I think they must have sold because they used to have really good food, cook looked like he was cooking for a pirate ship, definitely not the 50’s diner feeling anymore, ohh and the prices were way overpriced
