Great lil neighborhood spot. If you go during the day you will most likely see Gio who is going to provide you with top notch bar service, and My man Darnell who will hook you up with some gourmet eats at a reasonable price

Dylan was an amazing bartender. He got us drinks in a quick and orderly fashion and also made the night more fun than we could ever imagine. Any day you see Dylan it’s a good day

Horrible service
The bartender seemed bothered that she actually had to work.
She was either on her phone or yelling at what I assume is a regular.
She interacted with us 3 times for a total of about 1.5 minutes.

We asked for menus and we were told we needed to order a drink first.
Order a blue moon on draft and got handed a bottle. No explanation!

Ordered a Cajun burger and a chicken quesadilla.
The burger was bland and definitely not Cajun in any sense.
When I was 3/4 done with my burger
The quesadilla finally came out and was nothing but cheese and chicken in a mess of something that resembled a tortilla in a basket.

It was the first time in about 15 years that I did not tip a minimum of 20%

Definitely not worth it!

Don't ever think about walking into this establishment while someone (joke of a human) is mopping the floor and try going to the bathroom! They'll will talk back and bad to you!

Stopped in to have food and drinks with friends. Since I was the DD I asked for a water. I was told I would be charged for a water as every person has to order a drink. This is ridiculous. They planned to have at least two or three rounds and we would have eaten dinner. We left. This is bad business. I understand wanting to make money, you’re a business but when a group comes in and one person is not drinking, given them a freaking glass of water. You lost money on us.

My daughter and I decided to try something new, mistake. Food was ok at best. When the bill came they charged us $12 for 2 small bar glasses of coke with a refill. Waitress (2nd day) knew it was wrong and felt bad. She told the guy behind the bar who managed a shoulder shrug. Aviod...average food, poor management

This is an addition since I see they commented. These drink came in tiny bar glasses. I've eaten in bar and grills for decades. No real business would do this. New waitress was embarrassed. Place is a joke.

I have never been disappointed. The cook, known as Rick , is a master of his craft that truly has a talent in creating these editable delights. I am here today and thanked him for another awesome experience. This is Michigan pride at it's best.

I love this bar!! Love the food! Love the people! Love that the beer is always cold! I don’t go out often, but when I do I really enjoy visiting this bar!! It’s always a good time & I have so many great memories here!! I worked here forever ago in the early 2000’s when it was still Pony Express Saloon. It was my first bartending job & I loved it!! It was an all around great experience!! I had to quit when my health took a dive & I highly appreciated that my manager & coworkers at the time were so understanding & supportive. I’m really happy that this place is still open after all these years!! Although I don’t get out often, this is for sure a place I always love visiting when I have the chance!! If you’ve never been here before I highly suggest visiting!! Enjoy a good meal - they serve breakfast, lunch, & dinner! Have a drink, eat some good bar food, make some new friends (everyone is always friendly) & make some great memories!! This bar is a great staple in the area & I hope they continue to prosper!! This place forever holds a piece of my heart!!
