I was so disappointed by the quality of food from Damas. We have had good experiences here in the past, but their takeout is awful. The serving size is small for the amount we ordered. Also, the kebab is somehow rubbery and red on the inside. At first, it looked like it was cooked rare. But it has the texture of well-done kabab. It almost looks like they used deli meat to make it. The only thing I like about this restaurant is the atmosphere. We always want to give small businesses a chance, but we will not be ordering from here again.

We came at 6 PM, the bread was cold seams made in morning, and the chipps old saggy like made the day before or earlier in the day, the salad is very good and the kuba labenya is good.

Excellent, authentic Syrian food with prompt service

If it was not for their inconsistency I would Give them 5 stars .

The food was good, we ordered a variety of entrees (fattoush, shakriyah, stuffed grape leaves, grill chicken) and were pleased with each of the meals. The service was subpar. The hostess was not welcoming and seemed annoyed at any and every question we asked/request we made. We didn’t receive our full order, and the hostess seemed indifferent about that when we mentioned it. I would recommend this place but not with friends/guests - the poor treatment/service was embarrassing.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying an authentic Syrian breakfast with my family on our Michigan trip at Damas Cuisine & Catering, and it was an exceptional experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance that instantly made me feel at home.

The breakfast spread was incredible, featuring a delightful assortment of traditional dishes. The platters of fresh, warm cheese and za’atar Manakish, Sfiha and flavorful fattet hummus, and makdous were the highlights. I also loved the perfectly brewed and fragrant tea that complemented the meal beautifully.

To top it off, The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, making sure I had everything I needed and recommended grabbing authentic Syrian ice cream from Sham Ice cream next door and it was indeed top notch and brought me back to my childhood.

Overall, Damas Cuisine & Catering offers an authentic and delicious Syrian breakfast experience that I highly recommend. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their amazing dishes on my next visit to Michigan!

Ordered Yaleng, the eggplant and zucchini were no flavor, the grape leaves seems from can food, not freshly made.

Very nice restaurant, great service and good food. You can tell they take pride in their food and their restaurant. Be careful ordering the grilled kibbeh, you'll either love it or dislike it. ?

It’s my place my favorite every time I feel hungry and want to remember my old days of Syria. I just go to this place. Very nice dining spot. Nice customer service delicious food. Even the music, traditional and classical my favorites as I said.

I went there for lunch today, their food is tastless and seem to be old. Meat smelled. I took few bites and couldnt finish. Paid 40 dollars and walked out. Their appetizer was good, main course 1 star out of 5.
