I have been ordering food from Kashat Shish Kabob restaurant for my parties for at least 10 years. The food always USED TO BE very good.
Unfortunatelly last 3 times I've ordered from there, something have changed. I am not sure either a few ownership or new cook, or something else, but the quality and the taste went down hill.
Last time I ordered food yesterday for my luncheon party and it was the worst I've ever had. I was very embarrassed that I had to serve such a bad food for my friends. The beef and chicken kabobs were too salty, dry and tasteless. Breaded chicken and the other meat tasted like it was done a couple of days ago.
It was my last time I gave them a chance. I will never order from this place again. I recommend this place over the years to so many of my friends and co-workers, I would let them know the quality has been changed and I would not recommend to order from this place anymore.
Amazing food! Always fresh and great portions. Recently ordered a tray for a party from over the weekend and was so happy with the outcome. The chicken cream chop was some of the best I have ever had. Most places tend undercook the chicken but this was not the case from Mediterranean. Will definitely order from here again.
Love this place… they have everything and they just reorganized their store… awesome…
Great place great people I recommend it to my friend and family👍🏻
Good for shopping
This little Chaldeon market has a lot to offer! There is a wide selection of fresh produce, quality meats, a terrific olive bar, a wide variety of canned and packaged foods, and a good selection of coffees and teas in this bright and organized store. There's even a bakery that makes fresh breads.
Great spices fresh food and tea. The sweets are amazing
Very slow customer service, you have to wait a long time to receive my cold food order, prices are very high compared to other stores

The grilled food was great, I ordered the salad combo and the eggplant dip was spoiled.

A lovely lady at the local Marshall's suggested I go to this market for their olive oil based soap. I have a lot of skin sensitivities and thought I'd give it a try. What I found upon arrival was a treasure trove of wonderful things. Soaps. Herbs. Nuts. Teas. Beautiful produce. Lamb. Oxtail. A great variety of wonderful things. The downside:The shop being labeled as a bakery was part of what drew us in, but there was no baking happening, and there was a very little selection of baked goods. I was hoping for some baklava type sweets, but there were none to be found. Also saw no shish kabob, despite it being in the name. Maybe we were there too early in the day?On another note, I found it odd that the gentleman checking us out at the register asked me if I'd be using a Bridge Card, but did not ask my friend. I wasn't, but I'm curious to know why that was even a consideration or concern.

I never visited this store with the old owner (new ownership took over last month).Went to pick up some authentic Middle East food staples for my open house (I do offer small sandwiches for my visitors to my open house in West Bloomfield' open houses. The chef made the whole tray into small mini sandwiches for no extra charges and did make sure the package looked real appealing by just looking at it and putting plenty of napkins. Did my open house that day and (the weather was good, and many visitors did come, all of them could not stop themselve from picking up a mini sandwiches especially the kids want more but moms told them that this was only a sampler and not food to get filled, was so funny and all of the people did ask me what is the address of this market. Thank you so much for the kitchen and for my next open houses in Farmington Hills, Novi, Commerce twp. or West Bloomfield, I am getting the food from this market.
