I have been wanting to try this place forever! I will say this. Staff is super nice and the place looks very clean. The jambalaya is so good. So are the candied yams. I liked the baked chicken and rice but I needed to throw a little tonys on it for more flavor. Now the reason for 3 stars. It literally has gumbo in the name and it was the thing I didn't like at all. Has anyone who made this food lived in Louisiana? That gumbo would have been laughed at (chicken gumbo). It...

This place is so good! The red beans and rice were the best I've ever had. The collards were very flavorful and cooked to perfection. The corn muffins were also bomb - crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. I appreciated that there were so many vegetarian options. The staff were very friendly and the place was clean and airy. I am definitely going back.
