Menchies Hunters Square

I was extremely disappointed in my visit to this store. The front door was filthy. Handprints all over it. Not washed or wiped in a long time. I chose the tart flavor which is my favorite. I wanted some fresh fruit on top. The containers with the cut strawberries as well as the pineapple (the only choices) had a few pieces which looked and tasted like they were out all day. I had a very small amount of yogurt and 3 pieces of pineapple so the bill of over $8 blew me away. I could’ve bought a good quality gallon of ice cream for less than that. I won’t go back. No one seemed to care about this store.

Just shut it down already. Point of sale isn’t working, all the toppings are stale and old, dirty, paper everywhere on the walls saying this or that is broken. Worst part is the absolutely outrageous prices. $15 for the smallest cup not even full. Like I could get the best ice cream in the Detroit for less than just sad. This is what happens when a hedge fund buys up a chain and extracts everything it used to be.

Horrible. All the flavors liquidy, lady said it’s because no one came in one hour haha I don’t remember ice cream melting in the freezer. No restroom either. Never coming back to this franchisee

ALL the yogurt was liquid. We tried multiple flavors. The staff said, "I turned the machines off because we weren't getting many customers." I was still charged the full amount for soupy ice cream.

I tried to take my family somewhere else. My kids insisted on staying. I wish we would've done another frozen yogurt or ice cream place. We will never come back.

Definitely don't visit this location. Save yourself the trouble and disappointment.

I normally don’t write bad reviews but this location was so disgusting I have to. Every time you walk into this Menchis, it stinks like moldy water. They only ever have 1-3 flavors that are melted and watery. If you ask them for sample cups, half of the time they tell you to put your mouth directly on the machine and put the ice cream into your mouth. They don’t even let you use the bathroom which I am pretty sure is illegal in the state of Michigan. When you ask them a question they ignore you or roll their eyes. The whole place is covered in dirt and filth. It is honestly embarrassing that they are even open. The toppings are always gross and sometimes they don’t even have a scooper and they tell you to use your hands or a different scooper for a different topping which is cross contamination. I will NEVER come back. This store is a embarrassment to the Menchi’s franchise. So, if your thinking of taking your kids here, think again. I am so shocked that they serve food to kids. NEVER go to this place.

Not usually one to leave a review, especially a negative one but wow this place needs to learn how to do business. First of all it was about 100° in there and the attendant couldn’t communicate whether air-conditioning was broken or maybe they’re just too cheap to pay for air conditioning, but it was sweltering and she had no apology. Didn’t greet me, didn’t say thank you and not sure if she even spoken English, but was very unpleasant all around. Next time I want to spend $13 on frozen yogurt, I’ll go somewhere else.

There were very few flavor options, my froyo melted right away, and there were hardly any cold toppings available. The dry toppings were also incredibly dirty.

I was surprised at how dirty the place has become. There were no other customers yet counters were sticky and full of toppings that spilled out of bins. Some yogurt flavors were a bit runny. Handwritten notes were taped over signs to indicate price increases. I could go on but basically I felt it was falling into disrepair. Service wasn't friendly and spent most of our visit in the back room. I won't be back.

I wanted in to see only four flavors of frozen yogurt. We immediately turned around and left, that's incredibly disappointing.
