My boyfriend and I are in town for the weekend, and I am SO HAPPY we found this place. It's amazing!

My family and I were just visiting the area and needed someplace to eat. I had seen on google this place had good reviews. I can see why now. They are worth the 5 stars. The food was excellent. You can tell love goes into the food that comes out of this kitchen. We had two crazy toddlers who wanted to run around. Thankfully the mother and son duo running the restaurant were so patient with our girls. We would come back to the area just for the food. :)

This is one of the best authentic Italian food I’ve ever had for a while. The bread with the garlic oil is just AMAZING. Their gnocchi is cooked to perfection and all their ingredients are fresh and you can taste them. Mike is also awesome and friendly and will walk you through all the yumminess he has.

This is my first time at this place and I already love it and want to be back again and again. Both people that were in there and Mom and the Sun seem to be very nice and helpful and kind. It was very clean inside. The food was absolutely incredible I got a personal pizza and the Greek so good

A hidden gem! We're regulars for lunch, and we're convinced it's our best option in the area!

My grandson is picky about his pizza, but ate a whole personal pizza by himself! The Boot BLT was excellent and very filling. Fresh ingredients.

This place is very special, you can't get authentic european cooking just anywhere!

What an amazing chicken parm sandwich!!! It was so good! Wow! The best I’ve ever had. The chicken was delicious, the bread was tasty, and the sauce pulled it together perfectly. I am craving another one already. The cheese personal pizza was also delicious! I want to try another pizza with more toppings. I called and placed an order for pickup and it was ready in 15 mins just as they said it would be. Totally recommend this place. I’ll be back!

Right before Thanksgiving, my daughter and I made a road trip to Michigan. We came across Mitten and Boot Cafe and Fine Food and decided to have lunch there. What a wonderful find! I have serious food allergies and my daughter is a vegetarian, so it is a challenge to find a place that can accommodate our dietary needs. The Chef came up with a dish that I could eat. He took the time and checked all of the ingredients for allergies. He made a salad with grilled chicken, lettuce, apples, cranberries and cheese. It was delicious. My daughter is still raving about the vegetarian sandwich that the Chef created. The food was in such generous portions that we ate the left overs for dinner that night. We also enjoyed talking with the Chef and meeting his mother. The Chef was very kind and friendly and gave us great advice of places that we might want to visit in Michigan. If we lived closer, we would be regulars at Mitten and Boot Cafe. If we go back to Michigan, you can be sure that we will be going back to enjoy the delicious food and friendly atmosphere at Mitten and Boot Cafe!

This hidden gem was my favorite lunch spot when I worked in the area. Delicious food brought to the kitchen from the owner/chef’s background in Italian cuisine that he combines with fresh, Michigan ingredients— hence the name: mitten and boot. Cheesesteaks are amazing (good for two meals) and the clam chowder on Friday was always my fave!

Mama's canolis were a big hit again this year for our office holiday luncheon as they were last year! Although there was a ton of food her canolis were gone in a flash. Thanks again Chef Mike's AWESOME
