Food was okay but not worth the price and the tip? They ask for a 20% tip and you can't argue about it? It's fixed apparently which you won't know till you pay the bill. Already, the food costs more than it's worth, and on top of that, the tip. I paid 95$ for a meal for two. It was NOT worth 95. Sure, the food was okay, the service was okay, but nothing was worth 95!

By the time I got my leftovers home, they hadn't even lasted 3-4 hours. Especially the bread.

I checked Google before driving 45 minutes, because this is the only Iranian restaurant in this area. Google showed you as open, but when I arrived you told me the place was closed for a private party with no update or notice. If you plan to shut down for events, update your hours so people don’t waste their time

Tried ash reshteh, maust-o-moosir, salad Shirazi, koubideh combo, and lamb shank. All were very flavorful. Chicken koubideh was my least favorite. Service was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was quiet (we arrived just as they opened on Sunday). Overall, enjoyable and not too expensive. We got quite a bit of food. Oh, and the fresh bread was greet.

I was surprised to see the friendly atmosphere in this restaurant. A good restaurant is typically defined by its food, which is often excellent. However, to determine a place as a usual haunt, it needs more than that, and Max makes it possible. You won't feel time passing here, and it's a great place to spend a weekend evening or anytime you need to break from your daily routine. Highly suggested!

Great place on a Sunday. We ordered the combo #2, two adults and two young children and it was perfect. We also ordered tabouli and it was dressed just right. They also have a buffet on the weekend that starts at 2pm, we'll definitely be back to try that!

Excellent service but one of 4 plates was nowhere near the typical. The koobideh chicken was very sour tasting. The rest if the food was OK. Not great.
