One of the few that still does Daily Lunch Buffet in the area. Best Naan in the Detroit area, right out of a Tandoor. Most dishes are mildly spiced, Good chaat options, I only miss the Tea. Great place !

I expected the buffet to be larger than it was. What we did have was good.
They need to clean the glass on the front and inside doors. It gives a customer a first impression of the restaurant
The staff were working hard because this restaurant was very busy.

I recently ordered takeout from Saffron in Farmington Hills for the first time. I was really looking forward to trying their aloo paratha and chicken tikka. Before placing my order, I specifically asked if the aloo paratha was freshly made, and they assured me it was.
Unfortunately, when I got home and opened the food, I was very disappointed. What I received was not paratha at all—it looked more like an undercooked naan with a bit of potato and onion stuffing inside. It was doughy and not cooked properly. Both parathas were the same—soft, chewy, and raw from the inside. It was not what I expected or was promised.
The chicken tikka was ok ,but the experience with the parathas really ruined the meal. For a new restaurant, I expected better quality and attention to detail. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving food quality and preparation.
If you’re planning to order from here, especially parathas, I recommend checking your order thoroughly before leaving the restaurant.

I would like to say that this is my favourite indian restaurant that I have ever been to. The chicken curry is delicious and well cooked with wonderful spices, so is the paneer curry, so flavourful!! But by far my favourite part is the Tandoori Chicken, cooked to perfection with delicious flavors and spice for those with a lower spice tolerance. The buffet is very well priced, around 15 dollars per person, and that's when I usually come here. The mango lassi is also very good and sweet. And the owner is so kind to us whenever we come! Good appetizers, good entrees, good desserts and drinks, 5/5 would definitely reccomend

The papad was fried in the oil which was reused from non vegetarians previously flushed oil. For vegetarians it was nightmare to eat and owner is not ready to accept as expected. Could have guest ran to bathroom to vomit because it’s very disgusting to smell non vegetarians oil for born vegetarian people .

Spicy, be careful.
Fantastic, and fresh food! One of my favorites. Been here at least 10 times and it's been 100% consistent every time. Very difficult to get that at any restaurant. Very friendly staff and great service 👍👍
We had gone to saffron on Saturday, April 12 night for kerala medical doctors association dinner.
The food was very poor.
There were 4 dishes; 2 vegetarian and 2 chicken dishes. All seemed to have same sauce full of cream and tomato sauce.
I could not eat any of the dishes.
I ate only Naan and yogurt.
Saffron makes better food when they serve small group especially if known to them.
No consistency in food preparation.
Very disappointed
