hard to get a person to answer the phone due to limited english but they’re very sweet workers and i don’t mind going in to order! i love the mabo chicken with udon but it is veeeery spicy! so i only get it on occasion! highly recommended their egg salad sandwich! it’s so good 😭

Ordered the katsu sandwich. It was a dry sandwich with no sauce. Just a completely dry sandwich with lettuce and chicken lol. I went back in to ask the lady if the sauce came on the side and she said she put it on it but there was clearly no sauce on the sandwich. The portion was kind of pathetic as well. Way too much bread with too little meat. That's probably what I deserve for ordering a sandwich at a Japanese place

This is my second time visiting this location. They were out of the first item I ordered, so I opted for the curry rice with fried chicken breast.
The rice and curry were good. The chicken needed a bit more seasoning. Something was missing.
Will certainly try other items on the menu. Would recommend trying them out.
I learned this from a fellow resident. When I received what I ordered, I realized that this is the smell of Japanese fried chicken! I felt so happy. When I got home, I had it with grated ponzu sauce. It went perfectly with the vodka chuhai! I let the rest cool and then froze it for lunch boxes. I made it so that you can enjoy it at lunch as well. I will drop by again!

Really tasty, authentic Japanese fried chicken and rice dishes. I have been dreaming of a good Katsu curry to rival what I’ve had in places like LA. Sozai has done it. I had the bento box and fried chicken curry bread. Will be eating here regularly!
