Great place to sit down and study or play games with your friends. Sometimes the barista gives off impatient and unwelcoming energy but otherwise her words and actions are kind. We like the place, the artwork, the gathering of people and will continue to visit!

Is this place for real? I walked in and the barista (she had red hair) was sitting and vaping inside next to the pastries. She looked at me, sighed, inhaled her vape, and as she was talking to me it was blowing in my face. What is that?
Then after I paid $9 for a crummy cup of coffee I tried to enjoy it inside, but there’s no music and the silence is deafening. All you can hear is the old man and the barista complaining about people being dumb with no common sense… But blowing vape in customers faces and complaining in front of customers is incredibly unprofessional and lacks common sense.
I went to Apothecary across the street and had a very pleasant experience.

I like this place . Quiet and nice. Very peaceful place to study, meet friends, play some board games ..
The owner has always been super rude and was disrespectful. Only good part was the barista. Definitely will not be going back.

A perfect combination of coffee ☕️ shop, with homemade pastries and flavored syrups, gallery and third place for the community. Quiet/peaceful atmosphere.
Dark roast drip coffee was DARK, but surprisingly smooth. This is a rare place in a world of big name coffee places- a gem for sure!

I have wanted to try Blue Hat for a long time and finally had the opportunity today. I was not disappointed! I love the atmosphere. The space is super cute. The cookie butter cold brew was delicious and my wife enjoyed iced chai. The barista was super awesome as well. I think we found our new place!!

I had such a great experience at Blue Hat Coffee! It’s always nice to find a new staple study spot, and this is definitely one of them! There’s plenty of space and power outlets, the baristas are so kind and welcoming, and the drinks and snacks are amazing (I got the chai latte, brownie, and cheesecake). Shoutout to the barista yesterday — she made sure everyone in the coffee shop felt right at home and went around asking if anyone needed anything from time to time. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Live a couple minutes away and thought it was a good place. Very expensive - you can go to other coffee shops and save a lot of money. The atmosphere and the food is fine . What caused me to decide to put Blue Hat coffee on my permanent S-list was the unbelievable experience of coming in two days in a row, spending approximately $17 each day and asking for a cup of water to take a pill and barista said $.75. She pointed to a amall sign that said cup of ice $.75 I told her I didn’t want any ice, just a little courtesy cup of water. She refused. I asked for her manager and she said there’s the owner. I said Bill, can you help me out? I just need to take a pill I was forced into the disgusting bathroom to drink tap water, I threw out my pastry and left.
Do you want to go to a place where the chintzy short sighted owner looks at a paying customer who will spend close to $1000 a year there, and begrudge him a courtesy cup of water for a pill ? The guy obviously cares about his profits but not this customer. He looks at you as a profit center and not a person, I can understand the policy for somebody coming in off the street, but a good paying repeat customer who comes in often? I shall never return and neither will my family or friends. I am a retired attorney, and my girlfriend is a physician and we will never make the mistake of going there again.
We ate here 3 mornings in a row. I wish I had the option of 4 and a half stars. Coffee was great: I'm an Americano drinker, from Seattle. Service was great. My husband liked his egg breakfast sandwiches, but the chocolate chip scone was a bit too chewy and sweet.
