The chicken was very good. Everything was cooked to order and the staff was friendly. The wait was long but that was due to understaffing which everyone is experiencing. I would like to see them offote side items, not just potatoes, Cole slaw, and onion rings (they were out of those). I recommend you do not call in your order. They are way too busy to answer the phones with the staff they have.

I started eating at Chicken King years ago when they opened up!! The food was so amazing,I ate there about 4 times a week for lunch on work days. Then at some point George left and things started to go down hill. Every time I ordered the chicken it would be soggy and undercooked. I even tried the ribs again under the new management, undercooked again!! They even got rid of the catfish me and my friends all loved to go there for!! So I decided to go there this past week and try again. Chicken was soggy and undercooked again. It was sticky and gross!! So sad!! Used to be my favorite chicken place!!

First time ordering a chicken wing & half ribs combo as a takeout and wasn't dissapointed.Like the chicken wings and ribs better than Mr. Chicken in Livonia, even though Mr. Chicken isn't bad.Onion rings and French fries were good with great portions too.I read some bad reviews and was a little bit worried but glad I gave it a shot.Would probably order from here again.

Let me start by saying broasted chicken and roasted potatoes were good. However, on a Saturday, having kids basically running the place is not a good idea. I called in my order and when I went to pick it up I waited 15 min longer than the original wait time. They told me only then that they were out of Mac n cheese and to pick a new side. I read some other reviews and checked my order before I left to realize my chicken was regular broasted, not BBQ. They gave me a couple sauce containers but said normally they coat it and grill it to get the sauce on, but I “wasn’t charged for the bbq” so I guess that made it okay? I was too distracted to notice I didn’t get the cornbread I ordered and our two dinners didn’t come with rolls. My boyfriend bit into his chicken sandwich only to bite through two bones... not good.

This place is AWFUL i waited 20 minutes for a chicken sandwich that wasn’t correct, they lied about the price, didn’t give us any silverware, it was really just a mess of an establishment
