Greene's Hamburgers

I ordered 12 double cheeseburgers and got home to find none of them had cheese. Tried to call and no answer. Wasted a lot of money.

Went there for sliders and unfortunately found a hair in one of them. Gave me that burger for free. Not planning on going back soon.

Best burger spot in town!

It's a classic that has been open forever, and for good reason. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. I loved everything about it.

I got a cheeseburger and onion rings. I kid you not, the burger wasn't even half the size of a small bun. The onions on it were over barring and burnt. Along with the burnt onion rings. I was totally shocked. I told the waitress they needed smaller buns or bigger patties. She gave me a very nasty look. I am sorry but o would not recommend this place. My husband had 2 burgers and he said meat tasted bad. The bill was $30. What a ripoff. Never again for us...

Great people , good burgers

Just what we hoped for... grilled smash burgers, grilled onions, a pile of dilly pickle chips, steamed buns...and hot, delicious fries and onion rings. Everything was great!
Neat little building with original counters, stools, and mid-century floor tiles. Will definitely go back!

This is such an iconic reminder of my childhood. Grew up in Southfield in the 60s & Greenes was always a treat. 9 for 99 was a catch phrase of my era. I love the burgers, fantastic fries!

My daughter and pass Greene's hamburger often, so we decided today we'd try them out. Went inside sat at the counter, placed our order. ( I'm a Healthcare worker) As my daughter and I sat and waited on our food. I looked over and saw one lady putting the fries down with her bare hands. ? I told them that I didn't want those fries and ask for fresh fries after she put on gloves. They gave us our order minus the fries. I paid for our burgers waited almost 20 minutes before asking how much longer on my fries... she stated OH, I thought you didn't want the fries. Really after my 9 year old and I sat in your face for 20 minutes. Neither of the 3 ladies ask if we needed anything else we just sat waiting. I was pissed. NEVER AGAIN POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. ALL BECAUSE THEY DID NOT WASH YOUR NASTY HANDS. THIS IS WHY PEOPLE ARE GETTING SICK.

The burgers are great but the price is astounding considering the product and the service is extremely slow if you order at the window, likely due to understaffing. In 2024 the slider wars have become more like a slider pillow fight - we could do with another competitor somewhere in the area so Greene's and Bates can't rest on their laurels.
