I usually just get a matcha and it turns out good , but there’s no consistency here at all. The quality of your drink all depends on the barista. Got a matcha and it tasted like straight up water, my girlfriend was told they changed their matcha powder, now.. I been here a solid amount of times and it just tastes bad all of sudden that this new barista serves me? Crazy to be spending $5 on a drink, even more crazy that it’s not worth that $5.

We love going to Ground Control! The cold brew is our favorite.

Ground Control is a great addition to downtown Farmington! Great to have another local coffee shop in the area. Always tasty seasonal drinks and I really enjoy the variety of beans —they're always fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend checking it out!

So many unique drink options you don't find at other area coffee shops. All the specialty drinks are so delicious! Also love that you can get fresh beans here as well. The customer service is always great. Highly recommend this coffee shop!

I go to a lot of coffee shops and this has been my favorite for a year straight which says a lot. Staff is stellar, drinks are phenomenal and inventive, tables are perfect (this is usually overlooked at other places), great light food options and coffee products for home brewing, theme is cool and not overbearing or boring, bing bang boom.

Great selection of specialty coffees! I bought whole beans that were roasted just 2 days prior and tasted great when I pulled an espresso shot at home. The baristas are also very knowledgeable and friendly. Awesome place to visit for coffee lovers!

My first time at this coffee house and the girl behind the counter that was taking orders was less than thrilled to be there. She seemed put out to do her job. Not sure if I’ll be back, but the coffee was good.

Met Brandon at the Farmington Hills farmers mkt. Good dude and fellow Schoolcraft Culinary grad. James was also working when we stopped by and was gracious to spend some time sharing his knowledge and passion with me. Awesome to see them growing their business! All the best, guys.

Lovely little place! I stopped in from out of area for an oatmilk latte and overnight oats, both of which were excellent. The depth of the roast flavor came through well in the latte in a delightful way. My barista had a super cool plant shirt and was very friendly.
