I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The service was extremely slow and unprofessional. The food quality was far below expectations, and the dishes tasted bland and unappetizing. It felt like no effort was put into making the food flavorful or authentic. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you're looking for a good Indian meal. Very disappointing overall.

We celebrated my friend's birthday ? at Vindu last week and had a fantastic time? The food and drinks ? were great, suggested by Shivi ? He made amazing drinks?for us, suggested very good menu items plus brought out a yummy pastry ? for us to celebrate ?
This is our 4th time to the restaurant and we'll certainly keep coming back?? The baby corn ? appetizer and punugulu with peanut chutney were yummy ?

Loved every bite. I can’t wait to go back. I loved the Palak Paneer, Manchurian and the cheese naan was the best I ever ate.

Order fry piece biriyani, got a normal boiled piece biriyani, no salna, and the best part is, the guy says that was fry piece biriyani.

So so Indian food place in Novi.

Naan, as it was rubbery, not very crispy.

Started pakora was excellent. Chicken wasn’t cooked well in the gravy. Biriyani was decent.

But the biggest issue here is the tables, it was meant for two seaters not for four seaters. For four people with the food and plates it was superbly cramped, they have to change the tables for the better eating experience.

The big savior was the- Service, it was excellent and and provided lot of recommendations.

Pepper shrimp, ginger chicken, karampodi chicken, everything is made the same way. the picture they have for shrimp pepper fry is south Indian but they simply deep fried it in batter and put some red chilli flakes. how is this pepper shrimp?. their ginger chicken, karampodi chicken everything looks and tastes the same and picture in menu is extremely misleading

Had a business dinner here this week. The food was mediocre and the service painfully slow and impersonal. I left the restaurant with the smell of rancid deep fat permeating my clothing.

I enjoy South Asian cuisine, especially the more spicy dishes. Having traveled in India extensively, I describe the South Asian cuisine as edible art; the spices are combined to create magic. No wonder the Europeans spent much time looking for a shorter route to India! The best recipes are not transcribable because they are often passed down. We are blessed in SE Michigan with a large South Asian diaspora and therefore many great restaurants. Vindu is not one of them and can’t come close to some of my favorite places like Ashaya in Farmington Hills and Bheemas in New Hudson. This meal was missing the deep spicy robustness that I enjoy. The meal consisted of Chicken Tikka which was dry and under spiced. The same with the Tikka paneer which was like cutting into rubber. There was a spicy curry dish, which was ordered to the table where the chicken meat was replaced with bones. It was quite spicy without the breadth of taste. The Hyderabad Biryani was unimaginative, cold, dry and under spiced. The naan was so-so and also rather dry. (I like my nan with sizzling butter or garlic butter )

All in all, I give this experience a 2/5 and mark it on my list for a place to which I not return to. Too bad because inside it is modern, clean and well appointed. They need to find some better cooks and wait staff who at least pretend to care. There is plenty of parking should you need it.

Dark Strawberry Margarita, Innocent Passion cocktail, personalized Melon Twist by Shivi Raj was Outstanding! He made our group of Ten have a wonderful time. The food was something we always look forward to! Amaravati Paneer and Amaravati Chicken, Mutton Shank, Ulavacharu Biryani, Karappodi paneer and Gobi, crispy corn, punugulu, mysore bonda, Veg dum biryani, Special paneer, methi chaman, kadai paneer, Butter Naan, Pepper Chicken, Mutton Ghee Roast - no that’s not whole of the menu, just what we ordered as a group or 10. Hands down the best place to make memories and recall old ones.

I’m a regular at this restaurant's weekend breakfast buffet—it’s always amazing! Shivi, the manager, made me a custom drink, and it was spot on. Great food, awesome service, and a personal touch!
