Off-the-beaten-path great fish fry! I had the cod, walleye, and perch basket, my husband had the shrimp, perch & cod basket. Excellent!!! The service is fast and friendly. We try to go there at least once each visit to the UP. More times is even better!?
Stopped in at the Knotty Pine for some drinks and food while in the area during a hunt. Meet with great service, great food, and even better company. We returned a second night to watch some football and got to meet many of the locals. Next year we will be back to hunt again and we will be stopping at the Knotty Pine again!
Great bar and grill! Food is top notch, prices are good, portions are plenty of food for the average person, junk basket is amazing! Tongue and groove pine interior with plenty of mounted animals to give the place a rustic country bar feeling, warm cozy place with a fireplace! Even has an area above the fireplace mantle of people and camps that given donations for the rebuilding after the fire, check out some of those names guaranteed to get a chuckle or two.
