The service was fine. The waitress was super nice. The food was just super below average. The food just was not good. This is about the 3rd time at this specific location and I don't know if it's just bad luck but everytime we eat here it just isn't great. Other Applebee's we have great experiences.
To explain more I got their version of a club sandwich that's toasted and the toasted bread had so much butter in it that it made it taste disgusting. That and the ingredients just tasted off. My wife and daughters pasta plates were not any better. We left most of the food on the plate and left pretty disappointed.
Not sure if Applebee's is just not that great anymore or if it's a location specific issue.

The last time I visited a Applebee's was over 10 years ago. I had a bad experience with food quality three different times and said ill never go back. I went back on veterans day obviously because it was free for me and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The food the service was great. Im definitely going to revisit. Well done. The manager behind the bar was over the top friendly. She was very attentive and was obviously in a great mood. Her professionalism was way over the top as well. Places need more people like her. Thank you Applebee's for regaining my trust.

Had a letâs just say âdifferentâ encounter at the Fenton location. Upon arrival we walked in and there was a few people ahead of us and we patiently waited. The hostess dropped a menu on the ground so I picked it up and placed it on her podium. She gave me a snarky face as if she didnât want my help. Fair enough. We then were seated by her and she gave us the dirty menu that had fallen on the ground and placed it on our clean table. Kind of strange but ok. Then we had the privilege of have Vanessa be our server. We ordered drinks and when she brought them to our table she told my wife âhere grab theseâ (isnât that your job to place them on the table). What was even more strange and rude is we ordered off the 2 for 25 menu and ordered the spinach and artichoke appetizer and my wife ordered the pasta. I wanted the burger but I didnât want the garden on it or the jalapeño sauce on my burger. Her response was âok so youâre telling me I have to take everything offâ with just the look of hatred in her eyes. Yes waitress you do. And next time when someone orders a burger you should probably asked them how they want it cooked not just assume well done. Not a pleasant experience at all. Wonât be returning.

Waited a long time for our food. Meanwhile some children were running laps throughout the restaurant screaming while the mother was standing visiting at a table. Seems like the manager might suggest to the mother to control them due to liability like running into an elderly person or a waiter serving a table or maybe common sense?
