Not sure what happened to the Fenton Bangkok Peppers, it’s disgusting. Their food taste like it’s cooked in old oil and very greasy. Inside is very dirty! Unlike the Grand Blanc Restaurant. That’s clean and fresh food. No comparison.
Chicken was rubbery.
Holy mother of god. I wish I found this place sooner- needed this in my life
Ordered the cashew chicken with rice. It was outstanding! I love their food. 5 ⭐
Good Pad Thai
The female cashier is always very kind and friendly.
The portions used to be bigger, I'd get 2 meals out of a dinner easily!
I always order 2 chicken pad Tai dinners, 1 w/-sprouts+nuts, 1 w/+sprouts. I've noticed a couple of times that my dish (+nuts) looked significantly less full than the other(+sprouts), and I could almost finish it at once. Until last time, it was so apparent they were both less full than ever because when we got home with it, the lids were both still clean, no food touches even near the top of the black dish, let alone like it used to touch the clear lid when they put the cover on because the container was actually full, and I had no left overs 😔.
First of all, there is ZERO arguing the food is still spectacular! Sure, you could argue that I can just be eating more, but basically my appetite would have had to trippled and I don't think that's it.
I will try to note this on my next order and maybe see two fully filled dishes🤞.
Ordered the yellow curry pad Thai, tastes like nothing
Yum! This has been my favorite place for many years. Brought 2 more new people today and they both loved it too. Thanks to Heather and the whole crew for a wonderful lunch!
Unbelievably excellent food!! And I can't say enough about the customer service!! Well worth the price and 5 stars.
Restaurantji Recommends
Met Doug and Heather and chatted for a bit while I was waiting for my soup which was probably the best thai soup ever ! They were so amazing to talk to with explaining so much about their menu and just being awesome people! Can't wait to go back and try so many of their dishes that look so yummy! It's so nice to meet people that are so proud of their food and the restaurant they work for !
First time trying garlic shrimp and chicken with noodles. Doug did excellent with my special request. Heat was just right. Tina is great also.
Stopped in and ordered Cashew chicken with extra chicken and a couple spring rolls. DELICIOUS!!! And a legit amount of leftovers. I agree prices have went up but they have everywhere! I still recommend!
I try really hard not to write bad reviews if I can help it. I have been coming to Bangkok Peppers Too for years. Even during the pandemic when they were carry out only and they brought the food out to your car we supported them. I picked up our normal order of Drunken Noodle, Pad Thai, and a couple of spring rolls. The total for these dishes was $54.87.
I went to dinner the next night at an Indian restaurant and for 4 people to eat (the same meal portions) the total was $64.00. For $10 more at another restaurant we fed 2 more people with enough leftover for another meal for each person.
While I LOVE the food at this restaurant, I do not love it enough to justify the $55.00 for 2 people. That is almost half of my entire grocery budget for a week and honestly just not worth it anymore for us.
Just a couple of months ago it was $45.00 which was a stretch but I thought still mildly reasonable for occasional take out, but not anymore. I remember when it was $30.00 for the exact same order not that long ago.
Our favorite place to eat, hands down! The food is always phenomenal, and the service can't be beat. They take care of their customers and aim to please.
