I only buy my bread from Crust. Locally baked and owned I get the pleasure of eating amazing baked goods and shopping local.
UPDATE: I drive an hour to get my bread from here. Apparently they changed their hours, but the place i looked on the website said open until 6pm. When I got there at 5:10 pm they were closed. No one would even come speak to me, even though I was picking up an online order that was already paid for. Just disgusted by this poor service. I spent my whole career in customer service and I understand, closed is closed. The bare minimum they could have done is at least see what I could have been helped with. If my order had already been canceled I would have understood. Not sure I'll give Crust another chance, when I go out of my way to buy their products. Very disappointed.
Further UPDATE:
Upon reflection i should not have posted in such haste. It is unfair of me to expect special treatment when the bakery is closed. Crust was kind enough to respond to me here although I had already decided to update my response. My frustration doesn't change the excellence of the products offered and genuine kindness of the employees. TLDR; I was being an entitled jerk.

First off.my experience at the Fenton location has mostly bern good. My review today is for the last two visits to the farmers market location. In the past they sold good, fresh pastries. Not so any more I bought donut last week that crumbled into hard pieces when I broke it in half. This.week I bought a pecan sticky bun, I was told they were buy one get one free because they were slightly overdone. Like an idiot I bought them. These weren't slightly overdone, they were burnt snd hard. So I threw two away instead of one. They need to shut thus location down, it's obvious they are sending stale or reject items there.

Cinnamon Roll French Toast is absolutely phenomenal!! It’s easily the best French Toast I’ve ever had. Crust is one of my favorite brunch places around.

The whipped sea salt butter, the 2lb peanut butter and jelly doughnut is the absolute best!! And everything else is fabulous!!

I was in here with my parents and today.
I had a slice of quiche which was fine and my mom had a veggie omelette which she enjoyed.
My Dad had biscuits and gravy which were awful. The plate arrived with a tiny amount of watery gravy that tasted overwhelmingly of garlic and his eggs were way overcooked. A terrible meal.

My wife and I had lunch there. The place is decent. Limited options in Fenton, hence would be plus plus. I love the fresh orange juice The croissant are definitely authentic to thumbs up. The sandwiches were plain Jane- nothing special

I stopped in for some delicious bread and ended up with 3 loaves and dog treats!
Usually my experience at The Crust is positive however my visit this morning was not. Coffee was lukewarm and the filling in the almond croissant was runny. My friend ordered a latte which was picked up by someone other than her. The server making the coffee seemed annoyed and rude when we asked about it after waiting 10 minutes, however she did make another to replace the one that "went missing" I hope the next visit is better than today, it is one of my favorite places normally.
