We’re big fans of trivia at Frank’s! Rachel keeps things fun and fair, and the regulars are always welcoming. It’s a great atmosphere—don’t let anyone tell you otherwise

We’ve been there about a dozen times to play trivia but won’t be back. We followed the rules and kept our phones down but the table next to us would not stop playing with their phones. The woman running trivia, who has always been lovely in the past, refused to tell them to stop cheating. Instead she told us they aren’t doing that well anyway.
That table told us it was their first time there so they didn’t understand the rules. But then informed us that we need to just let them cheat.
I guess they prefer one and done customers to people who have spent money and tipped well in the past.
We enjoy trivia. All we asked for was for everyone playing to follow the rules. We’ve been there before when these issues have erupted. All four of the men had their phones up and out and a woman at the table had hers on her lap where she could look at it quietly.
But hey, why would they want people were there for fun? That table clearly needed the gift card more than the rest of us. I hope they enjoy their victory.

If you haven’t tried Frank’s breakfast, you’re really missing out! We came during the Sunday breakfast rush when all the usual restaurants are packed. We got right in, no crowds, and we could hold a conversation without all the chaos. I ordered the chicken and waffle pizza, and it was delicious! My husband ordered the breakfast special, and for $7.50 his plate was full!! Highly recommend.

Husband & I went to enjoy half-off pizza Tuesday & Arvon's Breakfast Bowl beer before ringing in the New Year. Staff is always friendly, & it was fun to chat with other tables & people at the bar. The Shrimp Pesto & BBQ Chicken pizzas were FABULOUS! Jukebox had great tunes playing. The kind of atmosphere you want for a local town bar & restaurant.

Reading the bad reviews is making me laugh. I live in a heavy tourist area, where people (mostly tourists and transplants) also think they know everything. I could eat at ANY of these French Quarter restaurants where tourists think they had the "best meal ever", but I don't. Instead, I cook at home, or I look forward to my occasional trip across the country, far north to eat fish at Franks! Unassuming, unpretentious, hearty fare that I could eat any time of day. Like food for my soul. The only coleslaw I like, and I NEVER see haddock, so it's a delightful treat. I wish I lived closer so I could have it more often. Can you please invent and sort of teleport service to send your food here, or should I change my review to a one star because you don't have one? Jk....but that is how absurd these bad reviews sound to me. Hope to hop in soon for dinner.

Perch dinner is 🔥beer selection is good. Need more sides selections. Staff is friendly and warm. Would say the decor is outdated and the Harry Potter stuff can go away forever lol

What a neat place. Felt like home when my wife and i visited. I particularly recommend the home made pie. We will be going back.
Excellent service, but.... I just spent $63 on 3 piece cod dinner that was soaked in oil and not crunchy, salmon with little to no flavor, cold/over done fries, and broccoli salad that was literally chopped florettes in a cup and browned on the edges. The coleslaw was good though. We did mention to our server what we were unhappy and he offered me new fries and I declined. He also said he's never had complaints before so I guess we're the problem? We ate half of it because we were starving but Won't be back, not just for the food, but after reading the owners reply to reviews I don't want to give business to someone who can't take criticism.

I have not visited here yet. Was planning to today until I read the owners response to reviews. The response to any negative reviews was to get defensive and insulting, instead of taking the constructive critism to improve. Will stay away.
