Pizza was tasty but maybe I shouldn't have asked for the garlic butter crust? The whole pizza was drenched in butter and made it very greasy. Like you couldn't even pick up a slice without having your hand drenched in grease. I will try a different flavor next time.

For starters when you walk in the place smells great! Pizza was not lacking in toppings! Tenders are the best I’ve ever had hot and fresh! Spicy tenders have great heat but not too much of a kick. This was our first time here as being new to the area and will definitely be back!!!
Wow!!! Stopped here for the first time today and split an awesome calzone with my wife! Will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

I placed an order through Grubhub and when the driver went to Hippo's they told him that they do not accept Grubhub. They said that the person at the counter was new and made a mistake by accepting the order. Even though they knew that I ordered they didn't make the food and waited until the driver arrived to tell him that they did not make it. I called and spoke to the owner who took zero responsibility even though he admitted that he had reached out to Grubhub for information and is aware that they list Hippos on their website. He told me that this happens about once a month but he cannot do anything about it. He made a racist comment about Grubhub customer service being Indians who are not able to speak English. When I asked him why he doesn't post something on his site to warn customers he said that Americans are too stupid to read. I think that he is wrong on all counts and I decided to write this review so that you could avoid this place.

The food is delicious, I had their veggie calzone, my sister had their spicy jumbo chicken tenders and my nephew had the regular. The chicken was juicy and season perfectly. The ice cream is delicious as well if you go their cookie monster ice cream is the best. The ladies hospitality was amazing it is a great atmosphere to sit and eat with your family, by yourself or on a date. I have to go back and try their ribs.

We have had many things from Hippos and it has all been great. But, their chicken strips and breadsticks are the best. The chicken is real chicken! Not processed. All of their ingredients are fresh. This place has high quality food and a great price.
