Our waitress Mystic was amazing. I also manage a resturant and I would be happy to have her on staff. She explained the menu, remembered our dietary issues and suggested menu items. I would definitely ask for her if I am ever in town again.

Can’t seem to ever get a table and nobody picks up the phone to inquire about a call ahead spot. Shame because Okemos operates much more efficiently. Hope it is better in the future with a better wait experience. Offering a text when table is ready would significantly improve the experience, and mitigate vestibule crowding

The t bone streak was great. Great service. All needs we meet
Been there 3 times in the last 3 months. 1st time food was excellent. 2nd time not near as good. Third time yesterday, Jan 31st around 230 It was horrible, all three times had same thing, wife had filet and lobster. She said lobster was tiny and tough along with a tough filet. I had prime rib again, the prime rib was med as ordered, hard as a rock almost impossible to cut very very tough hard to chew if at all. Smashed potatoes were hard and barley warm. Place has went down hill in a matter of months. Drive from Howell, never again!

Service has really gone down in the past couple years. Multiple times we have placed carry out orders, walked in to pick up and are told they’ll check on it and they walk away - all the while there’s bags sitting on the carry out shelf - only to wait 15 minutes to have them come back and hand us a cold bag from off the shelf. The shelf is behind the hostess stand, with no sign alluding to being allowed to look for your own order on the shelf. Either very disorganized, or just can’t be bothered to keep track of what orders are ready.

Shanti and Brianna did such a great job during an extremely crazy time. Our booth was so narrow it was hard to eat and manage a 2yo. Had to return a steak that was purple and should have been med/rare. But still tastes great once cooked.
