I came and stood by the door the sign said please wait to be seated staff walked by me twice so I sat down thinking they were busy then the staff proceeded to say that I don't know how to read to other people and would not serve me extremely in professional there was only three other people in the restaurant I felt odd just standing there with nobody assisting me will never return

The hash browns were the best I’ve ever had, and the toast was delicious. Although we had to wait a bit due to being a party of five, it was worth it in the end. For larger groups, I’d recommend calling ahead. If you’re a coffee drinker, you’ll be pleased—our server was diligent in keeping my cup full. Overall, it was a great way to wrap up our weekend trip.

My husband and I stopped randomly for a late breakfast. Keith was so incredibly nice and funny and Tina's food was amazing! Definitely try the homemade bread! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Keith and Tina were amazing hosts with humor, definitely recommend if you love a good laugh! The food was great, and fast. We got seated in a timely fashion.
"There's at least one a day." If you want to be mistreated this is a good stop. I've never had to walk out of a restaurant. We even called prior to make sure they could accommodate 6 people coming in. Keith clearly is over opinionated when you wait to be seated and no one shows up to help you. let's put this in prospective.... its small and only one spot had 6 seats we were standing in the doorway. So we sat down, patiently waited. Before he even made it to the table (which was 5 steps from him) he let us know how oh we just seated ourselves and there's always one a day that can't follow instructions. We even tried to say we saw the sign and looked at the seating and saw this was the one table with six chairs. Comes to the table asks who would like coffee raise your hand. only 2 out of 6 wanted coffee. we were waiting for him to ask if anyone wanted anything else and he proceeded to just walk away. It didn't stop there though, he made sure to keep announcing know this table nobody else wants anything but not to our faces or by our table. He never once asked about anyone else. I guess next time just shout your order to the kitchen. The next group of gentlemen walked in and the other employee goes take a seat wherever is clean. Being a small business you rely on customers especially when you told us you haven't had any all morning. Try to do better and you might have customers
Kind and attentive service, properly seasoned and delicious food, quaint restaurant with good value. Definitely worth the pit stop on a trip downstate/upstate

Traveling from up north, stopped for an early lunch. Turned out to be "brunch", as breakfast was being served still. The food was great. Kids loved it. Nice little hometown restauant. The owner was very kind. Took home a loaf of the most delicious garlic asiago cheese bread!
Kid-friendliness: The kids loved getting pancakes as big as their faces!

The Loon Nest was the perfect spot for brunch. The staff was lovely, they were attentive and had fabulous customer service. The building was the quintessential Up North style and it added to the feeling of being welcomed. Would recommend visiting! The Hash Skillet was amazing ?? ?

My wife and I found this hidden gem years ago on our honeymoon. Everytime we pass through the area we have to go back. That cranberry walnut toast is amazing.
