Super charming local bfast spot - couldn’t ask for a more authentic northern Michigan experience. Very good coffee/eggs/bacon breakfast with a wonderful pancake. The kind of place you end up talking with the folks around you. Highly recommend - easy stop on your way up/down 131. And the charming host/waiter didn’t hurt lol.
The staff is very friendly! hometown diner feel! The food is very fairly priced! The food was amazing! I ate the fisherman's special! And was impressed. Wife had the egg sandwich and it was made perfect and she loved it! Would definitely stop again and again!

A total let down. Picked it because of all the good reviews but things have changed I guess. Super greasy smoke inside from improper ventilation. Way overpriced. No allergen options. Food definitely wasn't made with care.

What an exceptional culinary experience to start the day. The level of service was immediately apparent—warm, attentive, and flawless throughout the meal. Adding to the delightful atmosphere, the chef was wonderfully accommodating and genuinely friendly, providing a fantastic personal touch.
The food, in a word, was perfect. I ordered the French Toast, a dish that was elevated by the addition of the most incredibly sweet and juicy strawberries; their freshness and flavor profile were unlike anything I've encountered. Equally impressive was the side of sausage, which was, unequivocally, the best I have ever had. This wasn't just breakfast; it was a sublime experience that stands out as the best I've enjoyed in ages. I wholeheartedly and 100% recommend visiting this establishment.

We had breakfast and it was very good. Service was attentive and prices are fair. Plenty to eat, not over or under on portions. I believe he was the owner, checked on how things were, nice touch. I would recommend this place, and stop and eat here again.
Super expensive for small amounts of food, dirty glasses, slow service and poorly cooked food. I really dislike giving such bad reviews but the management/owner needs to reevaluate things

Amazing breakfast food and bread! I had the Loons Nest sandwich with sausage, it had tons of sausage on it, delicious!

If you’re in Fife Lake, this is the place to get breakfast. Great food, homemade breads and pies, but the service is awesome. They treat you like family!

The best breakfast gem around, a cute place accompanied by small town atmosphere with the most delicious food.

Breakfast was great. Pancakes are huge! The wife went to order 2 and the waitress said, just get 1, they're huge. They are monstrous! It was very good. I got the veggie omelet and it was big and had lots of the veggies. It was very filling and tasty! Bacon was crispy just like I love!! Coffee was ok, but its typical diner coffee. Just ok. Lol. Fun place to eat, staff was friendly and food was great.

We had a nice breakfast here. I was so glad the waitress encouraged me to just order 1 pancake. It was the size of a dinner plate. The bacon was way overcooked so be sure to let them know if you prefer floppy bacon. Good place.

Awesome tiny breakfast place. Came to traverse city on a weekend and stopped here on the way home. It’s small town vibe felt intimidating but the couple that owned it were welcoming in a way I’ve never felt at a breakfast place. Food was fast and like home. Thanks guys
