Not too bad of a restaurant/bar. Food is a little pricey. The waitresses are great! They have a great garbage burger but won’t even consider taking off anything if you order it. Yet, they will remove toppings off anything else. The bar booth seats are really broken down and hard to sit in. Bathrooms are always dirty or not working.

Heading home from northern Michigan we googled the closest bar/tavern to visit and the Upper Bar & Grill was our destination of choice. The atmosphere felt like we were near the ski hill with the ole fireplace and log cabin feel in the back of the restaurant. Bar with plenty of drinks stocked with a pool table off to the side in a separate room. Food was well priced with great friendly service.

Went in on a busy Saturday night and had great service and the best Smokehouse burger I have ever had. The staff was doing such a great job with service and accommodating everyone on a really busy night. This should be a must-go-spot on your list!! Will definitely be back.
Found them on Google. Took the turn in to town. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in the door. Waitress was very friendly and gave some history about Fife Lake. Lunch came out quickly and was very good. Jodi had a wet burrito and I had a salad. Will definitely return. If you are in the area take the turn in to town and enjoy.

Well butter my biscuit do I have a review for you. Me and my chunguses decided to take a nice relaxing vaca to Fife lake this Fall. Autumn leaves. The vast array of restaurants in this bustling town is on full display, but what stood out to us at the local Scarecrow festival (ahhhh scary) was the Upper Bar and Grill. Our immediate excited and joy was quickly muted by the bleak decor and dim (doom) lighting of the establishment. We ordered and stuff, but my fellow Chungus Jackie Chan didn’t want pickles on zim/zer burger, and the lady straight up said, you’re getting pickles, no exceptions! That was startling, I was even shaking in my boots and not in the good way. Food was mid AF and I heard the beer was not very busting. We played some pool after our meal and I ain’t talkin about swimming. I didn’t win, but didn’t come in last, so it was okay. In summation, not Chungus friendly, but okay :)

We came here after waiting 35 mins for a appetizers at Fife Inn and after an hour and still no food. I have a 3yr old . We went here after receiving no food at Fife Inn worst experience. Then we came here straved and crabby and Casey here took awesome care of us. We left full happy and will for sure return. Best food and service in a long time. Good food , friendly staff warm atmosphere Best stop at an end of a trail , for all of the trail systems that have an end here with ample parking for UTV's , Motorcycle's , Snowmobiles and even Horses ! ! .
