I'm a picky-pants when it comes to coffee. I like a smooth and satisfying cup. This is by far the best coffee I've had to date. It beats out any of major coffee shops. You won't be disappointed.
My only sadness is that they aren't open earlier. I'm a major early morning 🌞 o'dark early riser. That being said, I'd still go back again and again and, we'll, you get the point.

Very sweet owners and amazing coffee! We ordered two coffees with their homemade creamer and some coffee beans too. We ran in literally 15 mins before closing and they were friendly and didn't rush us out the door. We can't wait to go back!

Mold free and organic is a necessity for me when it comes to coffee so I’m thankful for this gem of a small business operated by the owners. I used to order specialty beans from San Francisco, but since I discovered Hooked on a Bean in 2020, I’ve been a loyal customer. Every blend and single bean they roast is unique and delicious, and it’s impossible for me to pick a favorite!
Their coffee has spoiled me so much that I can’t bring myself to grab a cup from the big chains if I’m out and about. But…I love that I can stop by their shop Thursday through Sunday for a fresh cup to go, and it’s such a treat that their beans are served daily at The Literary Hideaway on Grosse Ile.
Beyond the incredible coffee, the owners are genuinely kind people who care deeply about their community, their product, and their customers. When you walk through the door, you don’t just feel like a customer - you feel like family.
