Totally ruined my Sunday dinner plans. I typically cook Sunday dinner for my family, i took today off after church and decided to order out and try this place. Big Mistake. The fish was under-seasoned or not seasoned at all. The spaghetti has cheese in it; it tastes like yellow cheese. It's very off-putting, especially if you have issues with cheese. They didn't disclose this on the page. Spent almost $100 and trashed most of this food. Very disappointed. The free cornbread was burnt at the bottom.

f you’re looking for good food, this is the place! The food is absolutely delicious. I’m giving them five stars because the portions are generous and the prices are fair. The only downside was the free cornbread it was hard and a burnt, but maybe that’s why it’s free.

I think most restaurants should taste their food before they sell it. I ordered a rib dinner with green beans and potatoe salad. The ribs were old and unable to eat. Green beans were over salted so I was unable to eat. The Potatoe salad was store brought and the had added more mayonnaise in it. So the dinner was bad and more money wasted. We need some good soul food restaurants in flint.

Food quality has declined, tough ribs not smoked well, no flavor. Macaroni was old and dried out not cheesy. Service was horrible, the guy was rude !! Lobby smells like a meat market, stinks . Overpriced and poor quality food . Entire meal went in garbage

Been going to Big Baby for many years because they have the most consistently excellent BBQ in Genesee County. I had to post this review after my latest rib tip dinner with yams and mac'n' cheese. Check the picture...I didn't get through half of it. So many meaty rib tips!

I've been a frequent customer of this restaurant and never had any issues until today. I ordered a large Mac and Cheese and was given a small. Upon my objection and showing proof that I ordered a large, they refused to honor my original order and told me to take it up with the third party service I ordered it through. Again, I showed proof that I ordered a large, so you would think they'd switch out my order easy peasy. It was just a side dish, not an entire meal. But they decided to be greedy and would not budge. I will never go here again and I discourage you from eating here also. The food is good, but the customer service is disgusting.

So disappointed we order 2 dinners one rib & rib tips 30$ bucks my bake beans was so dried out and old the mac n chz was over cooked noodles the coleslaws was okay. Our ribs was burnt. By the time I made it home I was so disappointed it wasn’t even worth the drive back. Never again.

I eat here (we including my girl) at least once a week and the food is always delicious. The food I received yesterday around 12:00 pm has me reconsidering ever ordering from here again. I spent almost $50 on 2 meals and an extra side of greens. The candied yams were almost black. They were so overcooked and dry. The mac & cheese was also dry and tasted terrible. The heaping portions they gave me should have been a dead giveaway that the food was old. The greens were even dry and flavorless. However, you mess up greens I’m not sure. The ribs and rib tips were so dry even after drenching them in an extra side of bbq sauce that I prob ate 6 bites and straight to the trash. Also, let’s not talk about the explosive diarrhea and Gut Rot I’ve had the last 18 hours ( I have a Rock gut by the way I am not sensitive to food- apparently just old ,nasty, should have been garbage the day prior leftovers. I am so disappointed and big babies just lost at least $200 a month from me. Ron’s up in smoke, Maude’s, Hell Famous Dave’s or Chips is bustin baby’s ass in my mind. Thanks for trying to ruin my favorite soul food/comfort food. Even the damn cornbread was dry, flavorless and a pathetic excuse of home cooked cuisine. I should’ve spent $4 and went to McDonald’s

I have eat here a couple of times. The fish and ribs is always on point. Their sides are a different story. Mac and cheese is dry and clumpy and the yams are a hit and miss and they both were cold the last time I ate here. But that fish melted in my mouth.
