They say they are open til 11:30pm, but will not answer the drive through after 10pm and just looked at us through the window. I enjoy their food here but this upset me lol

I went to this Big John's location on 08/27/2024. I ordered the 8" steak & cheese minus the grilled onions. The girl who took my order said pull around for yout total. The menu board says $8 bucks (plus tax). When I pulled up to the drive thru window the worker girl says that'll be $9.01. I said did the price go up? Obviously it did. How rude she did not say at the drive thru speaker the total amount. Super rude. I would have declined the order if she told me at the speaker. It's not that I cannot afford $9.01. It's the principle and how these fast food and restaurant owners are price gouging. And having their workers be trained to be deceiving too at the pay/pickup window. And for only an 8" sub.. $9 bucks. It should be a 12" sub for $9. I really hope these restaurants start closing down eventually. The sooner the better. Two words best describes these owners and their restaurants: GREED and price gouging at It's worst. They don't even have all that much overhead at these store locations. And only 3 to 4 employees to be paid at an hourly wage. So if a customer wants the meal add another $3.99. $12.99 for one stinking meal. Sickening ?!!!!

Wonderful service and food was great. 10/20 recommend. The 3 gentleman serving us were so courteous and helpful.
Food was excellent. Service was okay considering the only two workers I saw but it's understandable. Ain't easy running a submarine Sandwich place when there's only two of ya. Overall was Great .

Visited evening of June 30th.
Excellent food. Got the 18” super steak with mushroom and onion. Get extra cheese, salt you wont regret it. Wife had veggie sub. Grille veggies can be hit or miss. Only regret is not getting the 18”, because she said it was the best veggie sub she’s ever had. 10/10. We were visiting from Iowa and can’t wait to eat there 4-5 times when we’re back in December.
Also, employees working were super friendly and helpful.
Vegetarian options: Wife said it was the best veggie sub she’s ever had.
