Now this is what I’m talking about! I almost didn’t go today after the horrible experience I had at the Dort Hwy location last night (see my review there — and steer clear). But I’d been craving Big John’s, so I decided to give the Pierson Rd spot a shot… and I’m so glad I did.
From the moment I walked in, the energy was completely different. There were three employees working — I believe one was a manager — and every single one of them greeted me with a smile, acknowledged me, and made me feel welcome. My order was made fast, fresh, and 100% correct. The food was so good I literally caught myself saying “Mmm mmm!” out loud.
What really stood out was the genuine care from the staff. They didn’t just hand me my food — they asked how it was and if I needed anything else. That kind of service is rare these days and deserves recognition.
Big thanks to the Pierson Rd Big John’s team for restoring my faith in the brand. Corporate — I hope you see this, because the management and crew here are doing everything right. Whatever they’re doing on Pierson Rd is exactly how every Big John’s should be run.

Ate here for the first time & I must say I enjoyed every bite of my Steak, cheese & onion sub!!! The staff was very friendly & the Grill Master that was on in the afternoon of Friday September 5, thank you for my amazing sub!! Definitely recommend this establishment!!! Yummy 😋

Will not come back in here I walked in the only person in the store all 3 employees ignored me for almost 2 minutes they were comparing about someone not coming in to work. Even after they stopped talking. I was standing at the counter and ignored
I was just about to walk out when one person said what can i get you not hi or anything
I ordered my food and was ignored again till my food was packed The food itself is junk from what i know of big John's the sandwiches are packed over full of meat. For 19.80 ish i got 2 8 inch sandwiches that honestly i would get 2x more at Subway which is ridiculous to say
I got jipped on quantity of food My sandwich has ketchup on it(sry) But you can see it's 75% bread, 5% mayo not even a finger full of onions. And barely any meat For that price o got ripped off bad and the customer service was garbage DO NOT GO IN HERE GO TO SUBWAY YOU'LL GET MORE FOR LESS (Can't believe i said that)

It was a good sandwich, steak and cheese with onions and mushrooms. The bread was a little off, on the harder side than normal. Would of been good in a bowl and add green peppers.

I was in the Pierson Rd store a 6:30 pm today.... I was the only customer with 3 servers. I ordered a ham & cheese on wheat with only ham, cheese & lettuce. I told them 3 times what I wanted. I got home to find they gave me Ham & lettuce with peppers... Barely any ham... Too busy chatting with their friends to make the sandwich.... Ridiculous... Very unsatisfied....
The young men working there were extra nice, they made me smile and the food was delicious as always

The restaurant is overdue for a remodel. In the meantime, it can use a good scrubbing. Customer service is as expected in fast food these days. I wish it was better. The food is okay- better than the other locations.

The guy that was working on this day was not Big John friendly-i would say he was rude. I watched him charge a lady in front of me for a larger cup because he didnt have the correct size lids. It was not her fault after she had already paid for her cup. He never greeted with a smile he just looked at you and expected you to just start speaking your ordee. I can truly say he treated every customer the same- he rarely spoke and when i asked for extra butter it was a problem. I won't be going back to that one. I'll go to the Charlie's Cheesesteak next time... if he didn't want to come to work that day he should have stayed home.
