I made reservations because me and hubby were attending Tower of Power at the Capital. We entered, mostly empty, except bar area, the hostess informed us because of the concert, bar seats were available. I told her my name and that I made prior reservations at 5:30. Again, lots of empty tables. She asked if we would be ok with a high top table, we said sure. Well, the register was right next to us, and I didn't like the servers coming and going at elbows length. I then went to the hostess and said can we move, she said reservations were made for the concert and unfortunately nothing was available. Again, I'm confused, I also made reservations. I said, "well can we move to the other high top table?". She said, "someone specifically reserved that table", I kept my composure, although pissed the f off, we had already ordered an appetizer and wine. We finished and left, walked to Xolo, way better experience. So sad, because me and my hubby frequent downtown Flint a lot. Never experienced that before. I will not go where I'm not welcome!

We had cold food. The lady in the chefs jacket accused us of letting it sit on the table and get cold. It was brought to us 2 minutes before we asked for a new plate . They microwaved it and brought it back . Won’t go again.

We had the best service with Bri and our dinner was amazing! We brought Liam out of the kitchen to compliment him on culinary skills! Great lemon drop martini too! Good job Tina! Definitely coming back! 5 stars!

We visited on a Saturday night with a reservation. The place was busy, but our table was waiting. There is a real lack of choices for someone who has food allergies such as gluten and/or dairy. I had to have a salmon sandwich with no bun. The salmon was tasty and well cooked and the sweet potato fries were the best I've had. The other members of my party had a burger and lamb chops and they both enjoyed the meal. The server was great. They have a nice selection of cocktails and spirits. One kicker - the bill (about $100) included $3.60 for "Non-cash fee". Really? A restaurant that presents itself as upscale is going to ding me for using a credit card? I didn't notice it until after I paid. If I go back, I will pay cash. These fees are maddening - especially when even Wendy's doesn't charge such a fee. I'll take off a star for the credit card fee. Otherwise, it's a 4 star place.

Quite a delicious, great vibing restaurant. Do, yourself a favor and put Cork on Saginaw on your must visit list! We call our selves the "Feasting Four", we dine around metro Detroit rating as we go. Through a catered event we learned about Cork and decided to venture north to try it out. And we strongly encourage you to do the same. First impression is a Cork is an old building turned into a modern/eclectic restaurant where you instantly feel welcomed. The service was on point, friendly and attentive - Kat was awesome! The owner was on site to ensure we were well taken care of and talk about her food (something that most owners don't do, we loved it). The food. O, the food! The appetizers, salads, entrees and dessert were all delicious. Not huge portions but plenty enough we walked away full. Cork turned out to be one of our highest graded restaurants thus far based on food, service & vibe. We look forward to another return.

Dined here last Saturday, not our first time here. Drinks were good. But the hot chicken sandwich my sister was served was RAW; unfortunately she took a bite before she discovered this. It took them 30 minutes to bring her a new (cooked) dish. Meanwhile the 3 of us had food that was very average. My shrimp udon noodle dish was way over sauced, so was the chicken Marsala. Our server was very cheerful but he never cleared our plates even when we said we were finished. We’ve come to expect much better from Cork. I hope this was just an aberration since Cork is one of the few nice restaurants in Flint.
