I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. Arrived for dinner parking lot was empty. Restaurant was empty and upon walking in. I had a blonde white girl come outside to tell me I couldn't bring my SERVICE DOG in. Even when I said I could provide proof and wanted to speak to a manager. The girl went inside to ask the manager again. And came back outside to tell us he wouldn't allow my SERVICE DOG into the restaurant and the owners would be in tomorrow the manager REFUSED to talk with me outside. She then went on to say that an employee was allergic to dogs. I said to the girl. Great she's hypoallergenic so she can't be allergic to this dog. The girl again said I'm sorry you can't dine here. The only place that can deny an ADA is a church a restaurant has no legal right to deny me. I suggest this place replace the manager for not knowing basic federal rights on ADA (service dogs) before they are permanently closed for this. this was July 26th at around 745pm

This restaurant is not disability or service dog compliant. After hearing about a friends experience with her service dog and they refused to let her be in their establishment bc she has a service dog and they illegally told her he’s not allowed I will never ever give my business to this place. And I will spread awareness to everyone in the community to not go there either. Big mistake.

I have been in here many times with my GSD retired service dog, and with my current service dog. Both registered with the state of Michigan! Never have I been treated so poorly! My friend Karen Drammeh and I walked in, of course Sabre with me. Immediately, a woman stated loudly NO SERVICE DOGS ALLOWED! Karen spoke up and said that is illegal. She said it’s the owners policy! We went and sat down and I asked to speak with the owner, first we were told ok, then the rude woman came to our table rudely said he’s not here. She continued to be rude when I said I will talk to him or his father, she was loud and said it’s their policy! I said WE HAVE BEEN IN HERE MANY TIMES AND NEVER HAVE I BEEN TREATED SO POORLY! She didn’t care. I will be filing a complaint with the state of Michigan, as Sabre is registered with them as a mobility service dog. I will go back when I confirm when the owner is there. I have messaged to have the owner called me over this. I’m So upset to be treated like this. I wish now I would have call police to make a report out for denying entry. If you go to Doms, rethink the policy they have against service dogs! I will not let this go, the following are repercussions of denying a service dog entry. In Michigan, businesses that deny access to a person with a service dog can face a fine of up to $500. This is considered a misdemeanor offense punishable by imprisonment up to 90 days, a fine, or both, according to the Michigan Legislature (.gov) In addition to the fine, businesses may also be liable for restitution costs, such as covering veterinary expenses, lost wages, or medical and psychological therapy for the handler, if the service dog is injured or the handler experiences emotional distress due to the denial. Specifically, Michigan law Section 750.50a states: "An individual who violates subsection (1) is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment for not more than 90 days or a fine of not more than $500.00, or both." This law applies to the denial of access to places of public accommodation, including businesses. The law also addresses the issue of misrepresenting an animal as a service animal. Individuals who falsely claim their pet is a service animal also face penalties, including a fine of up to $500, up to 30 days of community service, or up to 90 days in jail.

My daughter and grand kids took me to Dom's Diner for "Mother's Day" on Sunday, May 11, 2025. Everyone's food was great. My daughter had fish and fries, one of the grand kids had the alfredo with shrimp and chicken. My other grand son had chicken and fries. The youngest had mickey mouse pancakes with bacon. It was the first time I tried chicken and waffles, they were delicious. The waitress went above and beyond, and you can't find this time of service everywhere..

horrible overpriced food, rude waitress and a even more rude owner. doesn't listen or care for the way you asked for your food to be cooked, food made the wrong way and im told I still have to pay but it's not what I ordered...... yeah let that sink in for a min. not to mention the prices on the menu don't reflect what you're charged. don't waste your time here

First timer. The menu is rly varied which i liked. Prices were good honestly.
Food is ok, i do think there’s not a lot of fresh things. They taste like canned or boxed.
Place is big so the wait is not bad at all.

Our waitress was serving too many tables probably cause she came by our table only twice, to bring the drinks and a long time afterwards our food so yes we did struggle a little to ask her for stuff and so.

Place is ok but I still would prefer a dif place with a lil more taste on the food.

Parking: Pretty decent parking lot tho everyone drives everywhere so there’s no indication of direction or whatsoever.
