I recently visited Golden Gate Restaurant on Flushing Rd and I was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with genuine warmth and made us feel welcome—exactly what you hope for when you go out to eat.

I WOULD NEVER BE BACK THEM NEW OWNERS ARE RUDE AS HELL don’t put your order in until you been sitting over 45mins… Paid for food I NEVER ATE OR GOT IT IS COOL THAT BUSINESS GONE DOWN ANYWAY I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO THE PEOPLE WHEN THEY TOLD US NOT TO GO BECAUSE THE NEW OWNER ARE SOME KARENS WELL THE MAN IS!!! Customer service at the drive thru is always good. But today the food was not. The omelets lacked cheese requested & the hash browns were burnt at the top & soggy throughout. They clearly looked like they were cooked earlier & reheated. Price for food has gone up; please make sure the food taste good, so customers won’t mind it.

I just had the worst meal from here…burnt hash browns were not ordered, but that’s what was put on my tray. My farmers omelette had a sheet of egg paper that did not taste authentic. One of the grossest experiences I’ve had from a restaurant in years. The females working did seem to enjoy their jobs.

The waitress was not professional, she didn't introduce herself. We had too wait 15 minutes on a carry out order and wasn't recognized as customers, because of that our food was discounted

Food is gross. Undercooked. Half frozen sausage patties. Back when the good cooks were there the food was good but now it's going downhill fast. Expect undercooked food and possible food poisoning. Update. Gave them a second chance with the steak egg and cheese bagel. Egg was way undercooked. Steak was burnt. Butter on the bagels wasn't even melted.
I placed a take out order of a Greek Salad with Chicken. When I opened up to eat it for lunch, I noticed an unpleasant smell and yellow and wet feta cheese all over the salad. You could smell it was no good. When I called them I was told it was just delivered and opened today.....Bullshit!! $15 Salad and I can't even take a bite of it. No thank you, I won't be back!

Ordered liver and onions and the liver was dry, over cooked, and the mashed potatoes was lumpy. They close at 3 oclock so no one to direct my complaint too. A waste of thirteen dollors.
