Awesome selection of sandwiches. High quality ingredients, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere. I would highly suggest anybody go here if you are looking for a solid lunch in downtown flint!
After living in Flint for years I finally made my way to Hoffmans last month. It was absolutely phenomenal. I took my husband there today and we both had the Autoworld. The sandwiches are fresh, hot and fast. I’m not sure how I managed to avoid this place for so long but it will become a regular lunch spot for us on the days the farmers market isn’t open. Love this place and downtown Flint food scene.
Gotta tell ya bout this place!
The FRWC is HUGE! The flavors are bold! The horseradish is HORSERADISH’N
Everything is big on this sandwich! Grilled chicken, supreme quality roast beef and some veggies to lighten the load!
The bread is outstanding
If you’re hungry, this monster will satisfy
I got a couple of sides to try too
The couscous is summer in yo mouth! Delicious, fresh, and bold flavors
The coleslaw is friggin BOMB!
I am so picky about my coleslaw and this is a YES +
This was my first time and I have ZERO doubts about anything on this menu
My Uber driver tells me every single time I come to Flint to go get some Hoffmann.
I’m not even a huge sandwich girlie but they have made me a new customer anytime I come to Flint!
Great job guys
Great food and a cool vibe. They have great box catering as well. Worth the trip!
We stopped in for lunch. The bread for the sandwiches was fresh and everything was fantastic.
Definitely better to stop in here can go for fast food.
The place was really clean and the staff were all very pleasant
Recommend trying this place out, it won’t disappoint.
Customer Service is terrible the staff is not friendly in person or over the phone. The staff doesn't care about getting the orders out in a timely manner , one of the staff told me they do not want to deliver to me anymore because my request for the gentlemen not to leave my food on the front counter of the city hall was to difficult and its a hassle?...
Darn good. I ordered the reuben on marble rye with kraut and jelapnos. Wife ordered a chicken wrap of some type. Both were fantastic. The place was clean and well lit. We sat outside on a beautiful MIchigan Saturday in May. Highly reccommend.
No sugar free for coffee flavors like website advertised! The place was really cute though!!
Loved this deli got their hurley with Tom added and an awesome real fruit smooothy!!! The staff was promt helpful and the atmosphere was wonderful felt like I was at home not in scary ghetto flint at all!! Totally going back to try something new soon !
We stopped in during Back to Bricks and this is now our favorite sandwich shop. So many choices and they don't skimp on meat or veggies!

I got the “Hurley Med” sandwich (yummy)!
It had turkey, bacon, the grilled pinnaple gave it a nice sweet taste but not overpowering. It was done perfect. They gave a lot of meat on sandwich, it was really good! But I had to get a box to finish later
The cute man with the long braids was sooo nice and took time to explain the menu and where stuff was. Will come again

Delicious, excellent quality, sandwiches that are made to order. Big menu, creative menu. Lots of indoor seating and a few tables outside. Great atmosphere We had the Knuckle and the Whiting (took off the pesto ranch and added dill mayo, also added turkey and shredded carrots). Superb!!!!
Our order for two sandwiches did take an hour when told 25 minutes but we weren't in a hurry so thst wasn't a huge deal. Expect slower service, but very friendly staff.

Stopped in during Dropfest. Ordered 2 sandwiches a bag of chips and a drink. Spent $30.00. Paid the dollar upcharge for the pretzel bun in both sandwiches. Not worth it. Had the taste and texture of a dense hamburger bun. I ordered a cheese sandwich with lettuce tomato and an onion. My $11.oo cheese sandwich had 2 pieces of cheese. The bottled drink and mini bag of Better Made chips cost $8.00. Husband ordered The Brick. He agreed about the pretzel bun and said there was way too much mustard on it. I worked at both the Downtown Deli and the Capital Cafe in Downtown Flint back in the day. I know what a quality deli sandwich should be and these weren't it.
