I’ll start by acknowledging that the waitress was the only positive part of this visit—she was polite and tried to do her job. Everything else was a complete failure. Two out of three meals were made incorrectly multiple times, which is unacceptable for any restaurant. The gravy was so poorly made it tasted like nothing but flour and water, with zero effort put into quality or flavor.
To make matters worse, the manager tried to charge me for drinks until the mistake was pointed out. Only after I mentioned writing a review did they suddenly offer free meals. I refused, because by then it was absolutely clear I would never return.
This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I strongly advise anyone considering this place to go elsewhere. I cannot recommend it under any circumstances.

This restaurant has went to the dumps. The people that work there seems to have no sense of pride in up keeping the cleanliness of the restaurant. They greet you by asking how many, not the friendly warm welcome that is appropriate for the basic restaurants. Now I will talk about the food and the presentation of it. My bacon was burnt the hash browns was overcooked and hard. I asked for shelled eggs and they gave me the other eggs substitute and those were over cooked, I told them I asked for shelled eggs and the manager said that they were the shelled eggs. So I told her I didn't want those and she took them back and brought me out the correct eggs. My son's pancakes were burnt on the bottom. The waitress seemed very bothered if we asked for anything. Mind you there was only one other family in the restaurant with probably 6 people. She wasn't walking around cleaning or anything. The price for this place is of no match for what you receive. Every time we go we are disappointed. I tip anyway because the reputation is that black people don't tip. Yet we don't receive the quality service deserving of a tip. Clean up this place, Top to Bottom. Hire people that take pride in servicing people.

The restaurant was clean enough. The server could not get most of my order to me, nor all of my wife's order to her. I walked to the store, bought beef jerky and a pack of cigarettes. I wasted an hour there, walked out and had my wife ask for the check. I paid full price for two meals that never fully materialized.

I can't believe how cheap this place is. What kinda restaurant gives you one single tiny slice of strawberry when you're order involves strawberries?? I gave them another chance and this is what happens. You people are horrible.

We had an amazing experience. Our waitress Gena was a true standout. She was super fast, kind, and had a great personality. She is an amazing face for the Flint IHOP. Go see her on Miller rd and I promise you will enjoy your visit. She is tentative and willing to have fun and just plain be herself. What a breath of fresh air!!!

Waited 15 minutes at the front desk within sight of at least 5 employees and nobody even greeted us or told us they'd be with us when they could. A woman waiting with us said she'd called in her order over an hour earlier and she'd been standing there unacknowledged for over 30 minutes. Guess they really earned their 3 star rating

Atmosphere and food are decent. Service is terrible. Waited over 20 minutes just to get our order taken when we were the only people here. People showed up AFTER us and got their food before us. 50 minutes go by and we still haven't gotten our food. And this is 50 minutes AFTER we ordered. Zero apologies or explanation either. What a terrible birthday dinner!!
