Worst customer service and pharmacy I've ever encountered. My 82yr old mother didn't have the money to pay for her prescription $3.86, I live about an hour away, so I called the pharmacy and asked if I could give my card information to them over the phone to pay for it for her. the girl in the pharmacy said "yes, that was fine" so I gave her my card information, and said "ok, so it's all paid now and she can come and pick it up?" Shes said "yes, it's all set" my mom arrives the next day to get it only to be told, it's not paid and they don't know anything about someone calling to pay for it. They called the employee to find out who took my payment and the girl said "she thought I meant my mom was bringing my card" WHAT!?!? why would I give you my card information over the phone if I was giving her my card to bring up there?!?!?! ...so stupid!! Don't get your medicines from here, I wouldn't trust their ability to even fill it correctly. I told my mom to have her scripts called in somewhere else.

I'd like to just share my Kroger experience. Did online pickup because I have no self control when I shop so at least I can get what we need online and just save money that way The man who brought the groceries to my car was DRIPPING sweat, literally completely dripping from his nose, chin and I'm sure he felt miserable. I asked him if he was okay. He said "I'm hanging in there, we don't have any A/C in the back room where I work". Completely shocked, my mouth just dropped. He proceeded to tell me that his manager forces them to bring in their own water and are able to "peek" their heads into the freezer aisle by the ice cream if they can't handle the heat. He indicates he's been working here for several months and they have never had A/C. It's 91 degrees outside, and I'm positive it's way hotter inside that building with no air flow. I asked for his union number as well as called Kroger customer support to report this information. I've been assured this is being looked into, and that this is the only store that apparently doesn't provide A/C to their employees who do pickup groceries. Swartz Creek Kroger on Miller rd, you should be absolutely ashamed.

I have lived in Creek since 1973. This is the only place i shop for my groceries. For 15 years or moor. Last night 12/20/20 Went to store to pick up a few things,Also had 10.00 15.00 in coke cans to return. Soon as I pushed my cart into store,I was stopped by stores security officer. Who was great! At his job A +++ He went over and above his job! I asked for a manager. To tell me why i could not return. my cans.I was over polite to him. trying to resolve matter at hand Bottle Return problem. Seems this store can take my money. Then tell me when i can return cans. one day its one way a week later its a new way! That is why i talked to THE MANAGER! How THIS MANAGER! Got a job, Dealing with People! I just don't .Know! THE MOST RUDE HUMAN. That i have dealt with in some time KROGER I HAVE SPENT MY MONEY FOR YEARS WITH YOU!! Having your store MANAGER HALF MY AGE TURN HIS BACK ON ME THEN WALK AWAY!!! THIS WILL NOT GO AWAY!! THIS CHILD LIKE MANAGER NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO TREAT PEOPLE!! RUDE RUDE!! LOOK AT YOUR TAPES . See it live the ever rude people in your STORE!!

I like this store but, they installed these stupid anti theft wheels on their carts like we are in inner city of detroit. Problem being half of the wheels drag now so they suck to push thru the store. Today tho i go in get my groceries and go to leave and i get halfway thru the crosswalk in the parking lot and the wheels lock up. So i either have to leave my cart in the middle of the crosswalk with the sun beating on my groceries i just bought to go inside and find someone to fix my cart or drag the stupid cart all the way to my car. HOW CONVENIENT. I get it, you dont want people stealing your carts, but all youre doing is inconveniencing everyone that has to use them. I will no longer be using these broken carts, if i need a cart for stuff i will go elsewhere. Sad really cause i like this place.

I have been a loyal customer here since 1998 and will NEVER go back to ANY Kroger store and the Swartz Creek store in particular. #1 Rude cashiers, #2 I wrote a check for my groceries and it was rejected by their new system. I have thousands in my savings account and for some reason they rejected my check, when I asked the cashier why she rudely suggested I talk to the manager, #3 Constantly getting rid of items I like to purchase, #4 Constant rearranging of the store shelves, #5 Their produce is really bad, #6 Their prices have gone sky high. I calculated that I spend well over $16,000 a year with them for groceries and find with the way i've been treated by them I will take my business elsewhere. Meijer has a ton of the stuff I am looking for and they have earned my business. So long, and farewell Kroger.

They have such friendly staff. Great prices. the organic and gluten free selections are better than Meijers

Where do I start with the deli department at Kogers. We put in an order for 400 pieces of chicken for a lucheon on after my Uncles funeral service. Two days ago (24Feb) we called to confirm the order and we were told there was no order put in. We asked to put one in yesterday (25 Feb) and was told there wasn't enough chicken. We asked to speak to the Manager and we were then ensured our order would be ready today for the lucheon at 2pm. After the service we went to pick up the food for the luncheon only to be told the chicken was thrown away because it sat to long. Why wasn't we told about the time the chicken could sit? And why would the chicken be made so early? We did receive a phone call from the Kogers...during the funeral service!! Extremely poor service and experience. I wish no one has this same experience on a day like my family had today.

I've only ever been in this Kroger a few times, but based on those experiences, I can say that I'm impressed with the level of service and and the cleanliness and layout of the store. I ran in here the other day to see if the bakery had any appropriately pre-decorated cupcakes for an impromptu graduation party (when I say impromptu, I mean this came together as last minute as possible, on the part of a complete and total whim). I had not called ahead or ordered anything in advance (as I said, this was pretty last minute), expecting to find nothing except garden variety pre-made cupcakes or worse yet, something only fitting for a baby or birthday party in pastel shades, but what I found was exactly what I wanted and needed- a package of freshly-made chocolate cupcakes with a nice whipped topping, decorated for grads in the exact high school colors that I was looking for! To top if off, they were only $5.98 for a dozen with my Kroger card, which I didn't have on me, so the cashier just swiped hers for me at the checkout. The entire process was so easy and quick. Honestly, I don't think I've been in another Kroger store that runs as efficiently as this one. I was in and out of the door in a few minutes and on my way to this little graduation party moments later. It could not have worked out better. As for the cupcakes, they were beautifully decorated and tasted great, fresh and moist. I could tell they were fresh baked, just like the girl at the bakery counter said. She mentioned that they try to keep a number of fresh "grad" cupcakes in the local high school colors on hand this time of year for this purpose and I'm so glad they did. Anyway, ordering gourmet cupcakes in advance from another bakery would cost much more than these, which were as bit as cute and great-tasting as something I could have gotten from a specialty shop. Seriously, for .50 cents a pop, this could not be beat. Oh, and they were a big hit at the party, too. When it comes to this Kroger, while I don't often shop here, I have noticed that it well-run, clean, organized, and the lines are always short. I like the layout, the bakery is great and the deli section is pretty fleshed out for a grocery store deli. Honestly, I would shop here more often if it wasn't rather out of the way for me. It beats the Kroger stores closer to my house by a mile in pretty much every area.

Love Kroger, good service, Love the card discounts. Recommend you get a Kroger car if you shop here to save big money on groceries and gas. Better checkout lines than other stores. Reason I put 4 stars is due to limited selection on some items. Other bigger stores offer more things however Kroger has much faster check out lines and usually better prices as far as I can see
