We were in the area and needed a dinner spot...the food smelled amazing from outside the building....it's what drew us in. So glad we stopped. Very friendly service and the food also did not disappoint. From fresh house made tortilla chips to amazing salsa to the huge portions for dinner it was top notch. Will definitely be back when in the area again.
I've been going here since it opened. I don't live in the area anymore but will go out of my way just to go get some Lupe's. The best chips and salsa!! The stewed wet beef burritos are my go to every single time.
I don't know "real" Mexican food like some do. I'm a Flintstone. But as local foods go, Lupe's is very consistent. Always tastes great. It's always hot. Service is prompt & friendly. Price is reasonable even post-covid. And over many years has never gotten an order wrong, unlike a certain spicy chicken place.
