I have driven by Lupe's for years and never seemed to try it. I read somewhere that it was one of the top restaurants in the area so figured it was about time to give it a try. Craving a taco salad of all things I decided to meet a friend for lunch. We started with Chips Salsa and Guacamole. The chips came out HOT and fresh. Guacamole was also great. Needless to say I hope the salad wasn't huge after demolishing the chips LOL. Both our meals were large portions...
We were in the area and needed a dinner spot...the food smelled amazing from outside the building....it's what drew us in. So glad we stopped. Very friendly service and the food also did not disappoint. From fresh house made tortilla chips to amazing salsa to the huge portions for dinner it was top notch. Will definitely be back when in the area again.
I've been going here since it opened. I don't live in the area anymore but will go out of my way just to go get some Lupe's. The best chips and salsa!! The stewed wet beef burritos are my go to every single time.
