Get the chips and salsa! We happened to arrive at a good time (so we were told) 2:15 pm, not busy. Little seating, dining area is small. We enjoyed the combo meal, servings were plentiful.
I hadn’t been here in about nine years, and I’m happy to say the things that mattered most haven’t changed. The chips are still thin, crispy, and delicious.
The golden tacos are solid. The beef is finely chopped, which I like, though it could use a bit more seasoning. The shell lands between medium and hard, with just enough give for a slight chew. Portions are generous and prices are not the cheapest in the area. $60 + tip or two to get three tackles...

Great family restaurant. I sat alone and seen the owner talk to a regular my whole meal. It was nice to see. Small town staple. Food was good but not authentic, as far mexican food. Probably food made to there own love and family style.. My 3 star is only based off authenticity, not more. I enjoyed my food but thought lupes was mexican food, but Its more American developed, and not authentic. Great service and good place to eat. Thanks to the staff!
