Here's a idea. Put a sign on the drive thru saying your shake or Frappe machine is down. Because if I wait in that line for my coffee and then told the machine is down. I'm gonna order a bunch of food and then drive off. And hell most the time either employees to lazy to clean the machine or they don't want refill the mix at that moment.
You could improve by not selling sausage McMuffins that look like charcoal and are rock hard because they are so burned.
