My wife and I tried this for the first time this week. Hands down some of the best BBQ we've ever had. Super friendly staff, great food, fast service. The cafeteria style ordering would make it a great place to go if you only had limited time to smash lunch. 10/10, will definitely be coming back with the boys to eat until I hurt myself.

Scratch BBQ is hands down one of the best BBQ joints I’ve ever been to. The ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender with just the right amount of smoky flavor, and the brisket? Melt-in-your-mouth perfection with that beautiful bark and juicy center. You can tell everything’s made with serious passion and attention to detail.
The sides are just as impressive—creamy mac and cheese, perfectly seasoned collard greens, and cornbread that’s both buttery and just a little sweet. It’s clear they put as much love into the sides as they do the meat.
Their selection of draft beer is fantastic, with something for everyone—from hoppy IPAs to crisp lagers and smooth stouts. It’s the perfect pairing with a plate full of BBQ.
On top of all that, the service is top-notch. Friendly, attentive, and always ready with a great recommendation or a smile. Whether you’re a BBQ connoisseur or just hungry for something amazing, Scratch BBQ delivers big-time.

The food is wonderful, the staff is great! Both times I have been there the owners have stopped by to make sure everything is perfect. They are really friendly and the food is very tasty. The macaroni and cheese is a must! I also have enjoyed the mashed potatoes, brisket, and nachos! They clearly mark which items are dairy and gluten free if you have allergies. I'll come back again!

I've seen this place and finally got a chance to try it. Yummy! I had chopped brisket and collard greens. Great flavor on both items. Perfectly seasoned. I didn't need the BBQ sauce they give you on the side. Brisket was moist, nice smoke flavor and seasoning. Friendly staff. Place has a good vibe. Big screens playing sports. I WILL be back to try the ribs next.

My new top favorite bbq place. It's enjoyable and they know what they're doing. We walk in and immediately are met with kindness and a positive attitude. We ordered food, and immediately as we got it, it smelled fresh and looked fresh as well. He cut the brisket and it was perfectly moist. 4 delicious sauces, giving everyone a choice of their own. Firstly, the brisket was so moist and cooked just in the perfect point, as you grab it with your fork, it immideatly fell apart and it was amazingly tender. The chicken was at a perfect crisp, and it impacted my tongue with such a delightful savory flavor. As sides we got Brussel sprouts, pasta salad, and mash potatoes. The brussel sprouts were the best I've ever tasted, cancelling out all that bitterness they usually have, it was filled with a lovable flavor. The pasta salad was delicious, but it was so spicy! I wasn't expecting such a suprise, but that didn't make it any less delicious. The mash potatoes were creamy, and the gravy on top tied it together like a nostalgic southern kids childhood. If you're thinking about eating here, do it. Not only are the staff welcoming but we even met the owner. She was such a sweetheart, and made the whole experience feel even better! She made the experience feel awesome, as she brought a positive vibe. Eat here whenever you can, it's the best smoked meat in Michigan!
