We celebrated my sister's birthday yesterday. We all enjoyed our food, and Katy was an efficient, as well as delightful server!
This experience was well worth the hour drive for us. It is so hard to find a quality gluten free dining experience. The service was amazing and the food exceptional. I loved that I had an extensive amount of quality options to choose from. We will be returning again and again.
Really enjoyable experience! Our server was very personable and pleasant. Everyone in our group was very happy with their food choices. It was gourmet food without the price. Recommended dishes: Prime rib tacos, mushroom risotto, wedge salad, salmon.
Nice place. A little eclectic in that it is a sports bar (kinda?), with high end food and table cloths, but there is also a buffet section as well. Nice place, just not 100% sure what the genre is? Food is very good and presentation is spot on.
Fabulous food with many gluten free options. Kelsey did a great job as our server. She was on top of everything and had a fun sense of humor. The filet flatbread was fantastic as well as the short rib tacos.
This was our first experience at the Socila House. We were not aware it was a sports bar/restaurant. After looking at the menu in advance expectred a more formal restautant. It appears the menu is for fine dining as well as for a sports bar. It was noisy but not so much to disturb you once you realize the tpoe of place you are in. The service was attentive and the food was good. I ordered the Sea Bass and it was unfortunately overly salted but once it was mentioned they took it back and provided another entree which was perfectly seasoned. The chicken roulade was a very nice portion and tasty. We definitely will try them again and use the other side of the menu with the bar food with which looked interesting.
Our group of 7 enjoyed our meal, so we plan a return. Food was quite good, prices acceptable especially for the meals we chose. Our group all agreed WAY TOO MANY TV'S GOING....it gives this lovely new restaurant more of a sports bar atmosphere. There was also music playing. Atmosphere was on the loud side.
Our experience at Social House was top notch. Our server, Jack, was wonderful. We haven't had a server that engaged with us in that capacity for a long time! The food was delicious, and although we had a glitch with one dish, management enthusiastically rectified the situation. We would definitely recommend this restaurant!
Food was good but I thought overpriced for no more than what you got. Service was great It was easy to talk wasn't terribly loud probably not somewhere I'm anxious to go back to.
Service started out great. We were seated quickly and our order was taken quickly. This restaurant was NOT exceptionally busy for 6:30 on a Friday night. Unfortunately, from there things took a turn. It took 1 full hour to receive my salad that comes before dinner and my spouse didn't even receive his soup until 25 min after my salad and after we had to ask about it. At that point we asked about our dinner and were told not much longer. When we finally got our dinner we had been there 1hr and 35 mjns. We were just a group of 2, ordering an appetizer and dinner and 2 drinks. Our waitress was very friendly and present the first 15 and then after that she was hardly seen while the waiter serving the 2 tables on either side of us was seen minimally every 5 -10 mins each. Our meals were comped which I didn't expect but appreciate; however the food was delicious and hot. The time was just unacceptable and didn't seem to be the case for most other tables.

Excellent! We cannot say enough good things about Social House Restaurant. My husband and I found this place online and drove an hour and a half from home to get there. It was so worth it. My husband had the beef short rib tacos and apple pecan salad. I had the chicken Caesar salad and tomato bisque soap.We both had a glass of wine. Everything was wonderful. Our server was was attentive, helpful and very pleasant. The owner stopped by our table during our lunch. All in all, we were very satisfied with our choice of restaurants. We would definitely make the drive again!

We decided to try for my birthday, asked the server about specials when seated and greeted and were told about 1 appetizer and a entree, 20 minutes after placing our order I noticed a buffet, I went and looked at items on buffet and would have rather had that had our server told us about it. The food was good but overpriced for what you get, the buffet would have been our choice as well as dollar value. We wasn't very happy about that.
I was asked for my ID and given some line about not being able to serve to people with expired licenses. So we're doing police work now? Or just an information grab? My license is very current and I am very legal and shouldn't have to prove it to a bartender. I'm 67 (VERY obviously over 21), was stone cold sober and shouldn't have to show my i.d. under these circumstances. I felt this was ridiculous treatment. Will never go to the overpriced Burger bar again.
Absolutely amazing experience tonight at Social House. I ordered the braised short rib and the bartender recommended a dark, Red Jacket beer by Keweenaw Brewing to go with it. The rib was tender, juicy and fatty and the beer went perfectly. The polenta was creamy and I didn't need to use a knife on anything! I ordered not long before the kitchen closed and I was worried the chef might be upset, but rather he actually greeted me during my meal and genuinely wanted to know how things were. I got to compliment him to his face! Amazing experience. Please come here and do it for yourself 🙏
