Place is going down hill. Certain level of smug that makes it a bad customer experience. If you don’t fit the right demographic, don’t be surprised if suddenly they’re “closed” early or you’re treated like an inconvenience instead of a customer. (Which was just my experience) It’s a shame, because this city could be thriving with culture, food, and community. But things don’t last here — not because people don’t support, but because too many places build cliques instead of connections. BUYER BEWARE: not every place that looks welcoming, actually is. Do not recommennd!
Place is going down hill. Used to be a great spot, with great customer service. Now staff is smug and could care less. Sad good places don’t last long in this city because of bad attitudes.

Friendly staff and various menu options. Busy just like the Farmers market.
Nice staff. Food not the best, especially for the price. At least for what i tried anyway. Nice atmosphere though, between that and the staff, 'll be back to try the soups.

I got the San Francisco and it was delicious! I don't normally eat fresh tomato and I've never had avocado before so it was a very delicious experience. Staff was friendly and attentive.

They have impossible sausage, vegan cheese, and vegan egg substitute.
My 1st visit to the restaurant, I've always wanted to eat here. After a walk with Girltrek, we ate at the café. I ordered banana pecan pancakes 🥞 & they were extremely tasty plus, very delicious, & hot. I was extremely happy & satisfied 😋 😍

The Dagwood sandwich on gluten-free bread! Excellent!!
We ordered Greek and South of Border omelettes and coffee. Both omelettes were amazing and quite filling. Coffee was sourced from Fireside Coffee, excellent coffee. We were not rushed, and were able to enjoy our breakfast in peace.
Best Club sandwich I've ever eaten!
This is a fan favorite if you are ever in Flint. My hubs has been going here since he was 7 and we've been enjoying this local favorite for 25+ years together. It's has a clean, cute and eclectic vibe. It's busy on the weekends so arrive early to put your name on the list. The servers are always great and the good is consistently great! They recently made some menu changes... and my hubs was sad that Nicole's oatmeal was no longer on it... but you can easily get it by choosing your own toppings. I enjoy the breakfast burrito whenever we go. I love the fresh fruit that accompanies most dishes. Give them a try and they will quickly become one of your favorite places for breakfast and lunch. The owner Nicole is always so nice! Follow us @ mnjinthemitten on IG and FB
It’s been years since I’ve visited this cafe, but it’s just as good as I remember it. Fresh, hot coffee and fresh ingredients. Never disappoints. This time I ate a salmon club sandwich with pumpernickel bread and a cup of asparagus and potato soup. My friend got the Greek salad.
Seating is limited but we didn’t have to wait long. Service is great. No complaints.
