The flavor of food was good but for the amount you pay $24 how little you get not worth it. Plus my cornbread was burnt and hard in the middle which tells it was microwaved. I got the catfish wing combo said it came with 3 whole wings I only got 4 wingettes and small piece of catfish. I will say the mac and greens were absolutely amazing!!! the wings were good but nothing crazy special but my catfish was overcooked or the grease needs to be changed. Me personally in the future I will just come for the side items. I will also say the ladies at counter were really nice.

I had the most excellent experience with the staff here! The lady behind the counter was so incredibly kind. She gave me great recommendations and a quick run down of the menu that had me so hungry! The whole experience was wonderful, and the food was somehow even better! A must try in Flint!
Hidden gem in Flint. Never had soul food before this. Will return. Everything was off the chain, lemonade was very good and I'm not normally a lemonade fan.

First of all, let's discuss how lovely the young lady was at the counter. She was so nice over the phone and in person and didn't mind me asking questions. So respectful! Now this food, Hunnnnny, I ordered 2 fried ribs dinners and they did not disappoint! 😋 The dressing and yams were sooo good! And who made the gravy? Who made it??? The cabbage was perfect! Not soggy, seasoned very well, and peppers & onions all up in that thing! And these fried ribs, whose idea! I got plain and bbq, and friend, when I tell you go hide from everybody when you open these. I saw the ray of sunshine come out the box! I'm so happy about my dinner. And my sides were big, so I got leftovers!!! Best $25 you'll spend on some food! (I think they got somebody granny locked up in the back, Cuz) LET EM COOK!!!!
