Great venue for live shows. Im from Canada and go every chance I get. The Machine Shop is great with staff that you can tell enjoy what they do. The owner is a great dude and runs a stellar venue with great staff and amazing atmosphere. Never disappoints.

I love the shop.....my favorite place for intown concerts.......exspecially when it's cold and you don't want to travel far from home....Kevin is like family to me...God bless and keep HEAD BANGIN

One of the bouncers had a tough guy complex and really enforced the no reentry rule even though I bought a separate ticket and a new ticket just to get back in he put his hands on me to make me leave, even though I was not being combative. What a poor experience and sorry for the 80s bands that were there.

Driving up to The Machine Shop from Chicago again for the second time. Got to see VentanA and (216) and now going back for more VentanA. This venue rocks! Great people and great environment!

If youre looking for a low key venue to enjoy sone great bands, this is a great destination. Prices are amazing and make it easy to keep coming back. My wife and I recently came to see Primer 55 and Smile Empty Soul with opener Static Affliction. All the bands did a good job but i have to give it up to Primer 55. Primer 55 absolutely killed it and if you haven't seen them live, you're missing out.
