Staff are helpful, positive, and know regulars by name
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here after it was recommended by the B&B we were patronizing.
Reservations are not required, but we made them just to ensure a seat. They do recommend calling 24 hour ahead for reservations.
We had a couple of drinks (pretty good), but no appetizer due to a late lunch.
I had the ribeye, which was slightly overcooked, and a baked potato (yummy). My wife had the salmon, which she loved.
She also ordered carrot cake to go and to be enjoyed at a later date.
A note on the decor - there is a lot to appreciate with the stallion wall murals and the tree art on the floor.
They also have patio seating, which we did not partake.
Great little bar/eatery in downtown Flint
Good food, cool aesthetic
Was a little warm inside for my liking but it was pretty warm outside
Service was great
I had the 8 piece wing dings buffalo style and a bottled root beer. Neither were that great. I assume the wings were bought pre breaded. They were not crispy more of a soggy soft wing. The root beer was a Stewart's, which I was reminded I avoid when I tasted it. The pulled pork slider was much better, but I wouldn't come back for it.
The service was ok, no complaints but no compliments. The interior is definitely special, definitely gives old tavern vibes with the exposed wood ceiling and wall beams.
Pizza was amazing!!

It's all about the Stromboli here.
Other dinner food is OK, but portions to price aren't the best on other items.
I'm giving the omelet a shot this morning, so I'll post an update.
It's mainly a takeout spot for us since we don't drink, but I bet if you're drinking, it'd taste even better ?
Service as far as pick up goes is good don't know much about dine in that's why I gave it 3 stars.
Update:
The breakfast was really good and affordable.
The homemade toast was great. The omelet was perfectly portioned, and the hash Browns were good as well.
My gf had a breakfast sandwich that she said was really good.
We'll be ordering breakfast again for sure.

I haven't been to the White Horse Tavern in quite a while. I had a craving for the omelets.
Inside, it's dimly lit restaurant with some brick work and old barn style planks and wood beams. Tables and chairs along with bar counter with stools

We went as a group for bookmclub. The food was good but I didn't notice that the shrimp taco had boom boom sauce so it was way too hot for me. They gave me another without sauce. Variety of food. Good friendly service. The lighting was a little dark as we needed our phone to see the menu.

The food was very tasty. I had the White Horse Salad which is similar to the Michigan Cherry Salad. One of my friends had the Shrimp Tacos, be careful of the very hot sauce on them. The service was exceptional, and the servers were helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was tavern type, a little darker, but overall pleasant.
