Never open when it says that they are. Had a horrible experience in the past! It seems like the owner is full of excuses which is super sad. Hope it turns around…

We ordered a pie For Christmas and it was ready when it was promised. That said, out of the 36 people that enjoyed the Christmas dinner, only two small slices were consumed. If the pie had been sliced into 8 pieces, the total eaten would equal one eighth of the whole. The atmosphere in the shop was adequate, but in my opinion, there should have been one more employee, that would have reduced the Obvious stress on the two women that were working.Would I recommend?Sadly, noBill

Swung by there to pick up some Halloween decorated cookies last week, they were all out; BUT, I decided to try one of their deli sandwiches. I ordered the California Chicken. It was wonderful. The apple slaw and quality chicken and sandwich bread made memorable! I'll be back.

Drove by many times and finally stopped in today. Picked up a few sandwiches for friends and was greeted with a smile. My food was made fresh, while I waited. Got a ham, bacon and chicken. All were put together beautifully and were served with chips. I didn't have any but those who received the sandwiches said they were amazing. Looks like I need to go in for a sandwich myself, might even grab a sweet treat too. See you soon!

Best cookies and cheesecake around! Prices can be steep but for the best, it's necessary. I hope they start back putting pecans in the caramel cookies.

I rate this place low because it was more like going to Jimmy John's, hard bread, expensive, not much meat, and if you don't finish it and eat the rest in the morning...it tastes very bad. Sorry, just my opinion, everyone has their own don't judge one for all. Thanks

The food is good, but very slow. It must be very loud in the back because it has taken several minutes to get staff to realize I'm there each time I've visited. The doorbells are annoying, but might be a helpful addition to alert you to a customer. It is also worth noting that if you stop by for a later lunch, you might only be eventually greeted by the dish washer and told he can't help you. I'm not sure why the shop would even be open if you can't serve customers.

I get a sandwich for my lunch here once a week. The sandwiches are very good. One day they had brownies and coffee cake, they were awesome. I like that I can call before I leave my house and it's ready when I get there. Nice place.

Very Very unreliable place to order your baked goods from. If you are not a "loyalty" member or a friend, then you'll likely have your order either cancelled or not made at all. Their hours will say that they are open til 6pm but nearly every time I go by they are closing at 3pm. The owner who is also the head baker is never there and when she is, her attitude is absolutely awful. You can tell she does not want to be there and she just rolled out of bed at noon. The older gentleman is kind, but it is apparent that his hands are tied when it comes to product as he cannot confirm whether he can or cannot accept an order for future. And good luck getting a phone call from the owner. How is this place still in business?

Easter week?? Really?? Tried for hours over the weekend to place an order for Easter, eight days ahead of time. Their online order system does not work, kept saying they couldn't have it ready in 24 hours, when I was asking for next Saturday. Soooo, I went in person today (Monday April 3) to place a order that would have been well over $100. They claim they are open on Mondays until 6:00 p.m. However, at 4:30 p.m. I nearly broke my arm when I went to open the door and it was locked. I had rearraigned my schedule and missed three other things I had to do. I'm glad they are so rich they don't need the (new) business. I see another review on here that says they did not pay their electrician for services. I totally believe that. Going to Fenton to the Laundry, tried to stay local but Marcella's won't have it.

We got a birthday cake then went back for cupcakes, sugar cookies, a loaf of bread, and donuts. Her chocolate cupcakes are the BEST I ever tasted from a bakery. And we're connoisseurs of baked goods! Also, her sugar cookies were the best I have ever tasted from a bakery! I froze the loaf of bread and it thawed perfectly for a sandwich. We found our new "go to" bakery, having recently moved to new area few years ago. Marcella's is 40 minutes away from us but well worth the drive!

Never open when they say they are open, they blocked me from their fb page for saying "hard to stop by when your always closed" pretty rude

It's been a long time since I've been to a great, cozy bakery. This place was a great find! I stopped in and the peanut butter cookies were amazing! The young woman who waited on me was so nice and patient too. I will definitely be back, best bakery around!

If you haven't tried Marcella's Bakery then you are truly missing out on one of Flushing's gems. Their sandwiches are delicious with homemade bread and tons of freshly sliced meat with delicious crisp veggies. And their baked goods are to die for. The cookies are the perfect combination of butter, softness and crisp. Their lemon bars are the perfect combo of tart and sweetness. And their staff is super friendly and happy... it's nice to go into a place and feel welcomed. I highly recommend this place!
